摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for network discovery. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit, to a first access point (AP), via a Primary Connectivity Radio (PCR), a request indicating that on a condition that the WTRU is disassociated from the first AP, the WTRU will enter a wake-up radio (WUR) only discovery mode. The WTRU may receive, from the first AP, via the PCR, a management frame that has WUR discovery elements including an indication of at least one channel used by a second AP. The WTRU may perform disassociation from the first AP. The WTRU may activate a WUR and deactivate the PCR. On a condition that the WTRU is disassociated from the first AP, the WTRU may receive, from the second AP, via the WUR, a WUR frame over the at least one channel to enable the WTRU to activate the PCR to initiate association.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for rediscovery and medium access for wake-up radios. For example, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may receive, via a first transceiver, a frame that includes a wake-up radio (WUR) operation element having a first counter value. The WTRU may deactivate the first transceiver and activate a second transceiver, wherein the first transceiver enters into a doze state and the second transceiver is in an awake state. The WTRU may then receive, via the second transceiver in the awake state, a WUR frame that includes a second counter value indicating an update of a plurality of basic server set (BSS) parameters associated with the first transceiver. On a condition that the second counter value is different than the first counter value, the WTRU may activate the first transceiver to update the plurality of BSS parameters, wherein the first transceiver enters into an awake state.

摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for updating a sequence hopping (SH) pattern of an uplink channel during handover from a current cell having a current SH pattern. A method may include receiving, from a base station associated with current cell, a transmission including information indicating a handover command that instructs the WTRU to handover to a target cell. The handover command may include information indicating a SH enablement indication and a SH parameter. The SH enablement indication may indicate that SH is enabled for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission. A PUCCH transmission may be sent to a base station associated with the target cell, and the PUCCH transmission may include symbols derived from a sequence that is based on the SH parameter.

摘要: A method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) for Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) using carrier aggregation is disclosed. Methods for UCI transmission in the uplink control channel, uplink shared channel or uplink data channel are disclosed. The methods include transmitting channel quality indicators (CQI), precoding matrix indicators (PMI), rank indicators (RI), hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK), channel status reports (CQI/PMI/RI), source routing (SR) and sounding reference signals (SRS). In addition, methods for providing flexible configuration in signaling UCI, efficient resource utilization, and support for high volume UCI overhead in LTE-A are disclosed.

摘要: Techniques, devices and systems are disclosed for generating a resource request poll comprising at least one response criteria, transmitting the resource request poll, receiving a resource request report from STAs that meet at least one response criteria. A trigger frame may be transmitted to the at least one STA based on the resource request report from the at least one STA. The response criteria may include at least one of a NFRP, a UL access type, a delay bound, an NDP feedback report AC, a number of indicated AID bits, an AID range, an information requested, a number of bits to be included in NDP feedback report or preamble, number of LTFs to be included in the NDP feedback report or preamble, and a number of bits to be included in NDP feedback report or preamble per LTF or per N LTF symbol.

摘要: A method for reporting power headroom is disclosed. Power headroom may be reported across all carriers (wideband), for a specific carrier, or for a carrier group. The formula used to calculate the power headroom depends on whether the carrier (or a carrier in the carrier group) has a valid uplink grant. If the carrier or carrier group does not have a valid uplink grant, the power headroom may be calculated based on a reference grant. The power headroom is calculated by a wireless transmit/receive unit and is reported to an eNodeB.

摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for updating a sequence hopping (SH) pattern of an uplink channel during handover from a current cell having a current SH pattern. At least one downlink channel of each neighbor cell of the current cell is monitored. Information indicative of the monitored downlink channels of the neighbor cells is transmitted to the current cell. Prior to receiving a handover command from the current cell a target cell from among the neighbor cells is anticipated and a common downlink channel of the anticipated target cell is monitored to determine information representative of a target SH pattern of the target cell.

摘要: Methods and apparatus may perform dual-band or multi-band mesh operations. A dual-band mesh station (MSTA) capable of operating in an O-band and a D-band may seek to join a mesh network, and may receive O-band beacons from at least one MSTA in the mesh network, where the O-band beacons may include D-band mesh information. The joining MSTA may transmit D-band beacons in a time-period specified by the O-band beacon, and on a condition that a beacon response message is received, may further transmit D-band association information via O-band management frames to join mesh network on the D-band. The joining MSTA may perform contention-free scheduled access in the D-band while sharing D-band transmission information in the O-band to enable concurrent communication in the D-band by neighboring multi-band MSTAs.

摘要: A method for active scanning in a wireless network may include two transmitters. In such a method, the following steps may take place: initiating active scanning on at least one of a plurality of channels; waiting to transmit a first probe request on a first channel of the plurality of channels based on a delay timer; receiving at the first STA, while the delay timer is not expired, a probe request from a second STA; and skipping the first probe request on the first channel of the plurality of channels based on information contained in the received probe request from the second STA.
