The media device reader may be part of an electronic equipment, such as a mobile telephone. The media device reader may include a connector assembly having a pattern of contacts. A controller may be used to determine a relationship of connector assembly contacts to contacts of a media device that is inserted into the media device reader.

摘要： A source of pulses of coherent radiation at a wavelength of approximately 1 μm, comprises a pump source for producing pump light; a laser cavity comprising an Yb3+-doped gain medium arranged to receive the pump light, the laser cavity being modelocked to generate laser pulses at a defined repetition rate; a pulse detector arranged to generate a pulse selection signal indicative of the repetition rate; a pulse selector arranged to reduce the repetition rate of the laser pulses responsive to the pulse selection signal from the pulse detector by passing only selected ones of the laser pulses; and at least one optical amplifier for amplifying the laser pulses of reduced repetition rate. The at least one optical amplifier can be configured for chirped or parabolic pulse amplification.

The agent or the agents are adsorbed by an adsorbent and thereafter desorbed and separated in a condenser (18). The regeneration of the adsorbent includes two steps. In the first step the agent or the agents are separated from a part of the adsorbent by heating. In this way the concentration of the agent or the agents is increased in those parts of the adsorbent which are closest to the condenser. In a second step the remaining parts of the adsorbent are regenerated.
