摘要: Provided is a half bearing constituting a sliding bearing for a shaft member of an internal combustion engine that is unlikely to cause seizure in a sliding surface even if deflection or whirling of the shaft member occurs during an operation of the internal combustion engine. In a half bearing that constitutes a sliding bearing, a plurality of circumferential-direction grooves are formed to be adjacent to each other in a sliding surface, the sliding surface includes a plane portion that is parallel to an axial line direction and an inclined surface portion that is adjacent to the plane portion, the inclined surface portion is displaced from the plane portion toward an end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction such that the sliding surface successively comes close to a back surface, positions of maximum groove depths of the circumferential-direction grooves are located on groove center lines, the groove center lines in the inclined surface portion of the sliding surface are inclined relative to a vertical line toward the end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction, a groove inclination angle of the circumferential-direction groove that is the closest to the plane portion is a minimum angle, and the groove inclination angle successively increases toward the end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction.

摘要: A half thrust bearing includes a sliding surface for receiving an axial force of a crankshaft of an engine, and a rear surface on an opposite side thereto. The sliding surface includes a flat surface portion near a circumferentially central portion, and two inclined flat surface portions on both circumferential sides of the flat surface portion. The axial distance between the rear surface and the sliding surface is maximum at the flat surface portion. At any radial positions, the axial distance in each inclined flat surface portion is maximum on a circumferentially central portion side and is reduced toward a circumferential end portion of the half thrust bearing. Each inclined flat surface portion is arranged to form one constant thickness portion extending linearly from a radially inner end to a radially outer end at a circumferential angle of 45°.

The plurality of journals include a first journal with a lubricating oil passage and a second journal without a lubricating oil passage. The first and second journals are supported by first and second main bearings, respectively. The bearing housing is constituted by an Al-alloy upper housing and an Fe-alloy lower housing. The depth of the oil groove of the upper half bearing of the second main bearing at least in a ±45° region is equal to or smaller than a half of the depth of the oil groove of the upper half bearing of the first main bearing in the ±45° region.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a sliding bearing composite material (10), having a support layer (14), in particular made of steel, a bearing metal layer (18) made of a lead-free aluminum base alloy containing magnesium, and a running layer (22), wherein the aluminum base alloy ultimately comprises 0.5-5.5% by weight magnesium, optionally one or more alloy components from the group comprising zinc, copper, silicon, iron, manganese, chromium, titanium, zirconium, vanadium, nickel, cobalt, cerium, and alloy components resulting from impurities, the sum of the latter not exceeding 1% by weight, and the remainder being aluminum, wherein the aluminum base alloy is copper-free or contains at most 3% by weight copper, the total content of zinc, copper, and nickel does not exceed 8% by weight, and the total content of all alloy components does not exceed 12% by weight. The bearing metal layer (18) is either rolled directly onto the support layer (14) or roll-cladded beforehand with an intermediate layer (38) made of an aluminum alloy or technical pure aluminum and then rolled onto the support layer (14) with this intermediate layer (38) in between, in such a way that the intermediate layer (38) subsequently has a thickness of at most 100 μm, in particular at most 50 μm, wherein the composite of the support layer (14) and the bearing metal layer (18) thus obtained is soft-annealed at temperatures between 280° and 350° C. for 2 to 10 hours so that the bearing metal layer of the composite has a Brinell hardness of 50-80 HB 1/5/30. The running layer (22) is subsequently applied galvanically or by means of a PVD method to the bearing metal layer (18).

摘要: A crankshaft bearing support structure includes a cylinder block having a first holding portion; a first plain bearing held by the first holding portion of the cylinder block; a crank cap fastened to the cylinder block, the crank cap having a second holding portion; a second plain bearing held by the second holding portion of the crank cap; and a crankshaft having an axis of rotation, the crankshaft being rotatably held by the first plain bearing and the second plain bearing and configured to receive an explosive load from a piston via a connecting rod. The crankshaft flexes, when subjected to the explosive load, in a direction of the explosive load. The crank cap in provided with a mechanism which causes the second holding portion to flex in a manner that a bearing holding surface of the second holding portion follows flexure of the crankshaft subjected to the explosive load.

By oscillating rotary motion of the upper link side pin boss portion (25) that is provided with an oil groove (29) on an end surface of the upper link side pin boss portion (25), the lubricating oil in the oil storing portion (21) is supplied to an upper pin (4).
