摘要: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for payload stabilization is provided. The present invention may include, in response to receiving at least one sensor data associated with a suspended payload, detecting an unstable movement in the suspended payload during a transport of the suspended payload. The present invention may also include implementing at least one sail coupled to the suspended payload to stabilize the detected unstable movement of the suspended payload.

摘要: A method and system are provided. The method includes performing, by at least a computer processing system having a hardware processor, a particulate mapping process to predict particulate exposure at a target location based on an estimated particulate source, an estimated particulate source output, and a fine-grained weather forecast for the target location. The performing step includes estimating the target location using a fine-grained weather hindcast and inverse modelling. The performing step further includes generating observations of particulate exposure for one or more specific particulates, using a set of particulate sensors.

摘要: A method, a computer program product, and a computer system warn workers of a hazardous condition on a worksite. The method includes determining at least one outcome involving a worker and at least one worksite object based on conditions of the worksite. The method includes predicting whether a select one of the at least one outcome presents a hazardous condition to the worker. As a result of predicting that the select outcome presents the hazardous condition, the method includes transmitting a signal to a device associated with the worker. The signal triggers a warning to be received by the worker where the device is in a proximity of the worker.

摘要: Solar irradiation may be predicted based on input terrestrial sky images comprising cloud images, the terrestrial sky images taken from a plurality of geographic locations by a plurality of devices; for example, wherein the terrestrial sky images are crowd sourced from the plurality of devices. A model may be generated that predicts solar irradiation in a geographic area based on the input terrestrial sky images and the geographic locations from where the terrestrial sky images were taken. A signal representing the solar irradiation predicted by the model is output.

摘要: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s), obtains pre-recorded visual data from a given location, captured by an image capture device at a visual input location at the given location. The processor(s) determines a position of the image capture device utilized to capture the visual data. The processor(s) obtains known landmarks from data related to the given location. The processor(s) analyzes the visual data to identify a portion of the known landmarks in the visual data, where the analyzing generates matched landmarks. The processor(s) determines a spatial orientation and positioning of the visual input location with respect to the matched landmarks, at the given location. The processor(s) generates an encryption key, utilizing the spatial orientation and the positioning of the visual input location with respect to the matched landmarks. The processor(s) encrypts a message with the encryption key, generating an encrypted message.

摘要: A system, method and program product for managing a moving peer-to-peer network. A system is provided that a node tracking system that collects tracking information of nodes in a moving P2P network including position, connection status and computation capability; a network representation system that stores the tracking information in a dynamic graph that specifies nodes and connections between the nodes; a task manager for receiving a task submitted by a requesting node for a service implemented by a provider node; and a network allocation system that determines and allocates an optimal path back and forth between the requesting node and the provider node, wherein the optimal path is selected to minimize an overall wall-time, and wherein the network allocation system estimates future positions of moving nodes for determining the optimal path.

摘要: An augmented reality display system used to diminish (for example, obscure, obfuscate, hide, make less distracting, block out, “white wash” and/or make less discernible) certain portions of a base image (for example, a user's view of a part of the real world as seen through eyeglasses). Some examples of visual subject matter that can be diminished include: (i) driver distraction phenomena; (ii) advertising; and/or (iii) subject matter the user is not authorized to view.

摘要: A technique for defragmenting jobs on processor-based computing resources including: (i) determining a first defragmentation condition, which first defragmentation condition will be determined to exist when it is favorable under a first energy consideration to defragment the allocation of jobs as among a set of processor-based computing resources of a supercomputer (for example, a compute-card-based supercomputer); and (ii) on condition that the first defragmentation condition exists, defragmenting the jobs on the set of processor-based computing resources.
