The graphite tube furnace is constructed with zones disposed substantially symmetrically around the center of the furnace. The shape of the zones is largely matched and matchable to the functions of the device, such as electric contacting, prevention of heat sinks, restriction of an atomization chamber, provision of an atomization chamber and holding of the specimen support. The specimen support is formed in such a way that in practice it is no longer heated by Joulean heat or thermal conduction, it is secured against movements and it has a minimal mass.

An imaging device is used to record a first digital image of a packaged product. The positional coordinates, and optionally the color values, of the pigment particles contained in the packaging film are determined from the digital image by means of a computer program and an identification code is calculated from the coordinate or color values and stored in a database. To authenticate the product at a later time, a second digital image is recorded and a test code is determined and compared with the recorded identification code.

The invention relates, in particular, to a method of producing agave syrup-containing chocolate, wherein an emulsion consisting of cocoa butter or another fat or fat mixture and agave syrup or an aqueous sugar solution is generated and mixed with cocoa mass. According to the invention, the emulsion and later the chocolate are stabilized by emulsification at elevated temperature and evaporating the agave syrup or the sugar solution in the emulsified state. An otherwise customary comminution of the dry materials is therefore no longer necessary since the fineness necessary for sensory properties is set by the emulsifying process.
