    摘要： A system and method is provided for a wearable robotic upper body garment. In an embodiment, an upper body garment or apparatus comprises a shoulder saddle, one or more actuators, one or more flexible tendons, back torso section, front, torso section, torso wrap, and upper arm cuff. The shoulder saddle may be comprised of a yoke and one or more elevated shoulder sections. The one or more elevated shoulder sections may be comprised of a first elevated shoulder section. In an embodiment, the back torso and front torso sections may be structurally connected to the yoke. In an embodiment, the one or more actuators may be structurally connected to either said back torso section or front torso section. In an embodiment, the one or more flexible tendons may be operationally connected to a predetermined one or more actuators and an upper arm cuff. In an embodiment and during operations, the one or more actuators effectuate a pulling motion on one or more flexible tendons enabling or augmenting movement about an upper extremity joint.

    摘要： This massage device is configured to apply pressure to a human user's back, shoulders, or any distinct part of the musculoskeletal system. It can also be operated with a single arm and attaches to the user's forearm to apply pin-point or various pressure to target muscles. The massage device includes an arm plate that is configured to cover a forearm and a wrist of a human user. A hand grip is mechanically coupled to the arm plate and configured to accommodate the gripping of human fingers. A wrist bar is attached to the arm plate. A J-bar may be attached to the wrist bar. A tip is attached to the J-bar or directly to the short wrist bar. The tip is configured to provide variant pressure to the human user's back or shoulders or distal body part. Thereby duplicating mechanical pressure applied by a trained bodyworker by the untrained self at a much more reasonable price.

    摘要： Methods of tissue manipulation are provided. Aspects of the methods include non-surgical methods for manipulating one or more tissues, such as human tissues. In some versions, the tissues are subcutaneous and the methods include differentiating at least a first tissue and a second tissue. Embodiments of the methods include inducing relative motion between a first tissue and a second tissue by, for example, applying pressure to one or more of the tissues and/or by inducing movement of at least a portion of a subject's body which is operatively connected to a tissue. The disclosed subject matter finds use in a variety of different applications, including alleviating symptoms of overuse conditions.
