    摘要: A hinge portion is formed on the base portion. An antenna portion is attached to the hinge portion so as to be pivotable thereabout. The hinge portion includes a hinge base having a first shaft formed on one end thereof, a second shaft formed on the other end thereof, and a first protrusion formed on an outer periphery of the second shaft, and a hinge bush rotatably mounted on the first shaft and engaged with the antenna portion. The antenna portion is formed with a hole surrounding the outer periphery of the second shaft. A projection is formed on an inner periphery of the hole. The first protrusion is brought into contact with the projection when the antenna portion is pivoted so as to define a predetermined angle with respect to the base portion.

The attaching member 43 provides wire receiving grooves 43a and 43b to receive and support the wire 42. At least one pair of wire holding parts 43d are formed on inner wall defining the wire receiving grooves 43a and 43b. The wire holding parts 43d of each pair are opposite to each other and inclined to narrow a width of the wire receiving groove 43a or 43b with increasing proximity to an upper side of the wire receiving groove 43a or 43b. The wire holding parts 43d hold the wire 42 put into the wire receiving grooves 43a and 43b.

    摘要: A fixing hole and a locating hole of an automobile's roof are aligned in a predetermined direction while a fixing part and a locator pin of an antenna unit are aligned in a slightly different direction on the condition the antenna unit is oriented in the predetermined direction. The antenna unit is placed on the roof and a male screw is engaged with a female screw fixed to the fixing part to attach a fixing attachment. By tightening the female screw, the roof is held tight between the antenna unit and the fixing attachment and thereby the antenna unit is fixed to the roof. In this case, the antenna unit is oriented in the predetermined direction with a high degree of accuracy due to clearances between the fixing hole and the fixing part and between the locating hole and the locator pin.

In the antenna case, a main circuit board having first and second surfaces opposite to each other is mounted.
