摘要: A grating alignment device performs alignment of two or more plane gratings so as to eliminate an angular misalignment and a phase misalignment which are caused between respective diffracted light beams generated when incident light is diffracted by the plane gratings. Specifically, alignment is performed by appropriately adjusting an angle A, an angle B, an angle C, a coordinate Z, and a coordinate X of the second plane grating so as to eliminate at least one of the angular misalignment and the phase misalignment which are caused between the respective diffracted light beams generated when incident light is diffracted by the first plane grating and the second plane grating.

摘要: A reflecting mirror, wherein mirror segments are fused together thereby composing the reflecting mirror by formulating square sums of displacements at a plurality of sampling points on a mirror surface of the reflecting mirror as a function of a thermal expansion coefficient vector having components of deviations of thermal expansion coefficients of the respective mirror segments from the average thermal expansion coefficients of all the mirror segments, positions of the components corresponding to arranging positions of the respective mirror segments; generating a stochastic process wherein the smaller the square sum of the displacement of the thermal expansion coefficient vector, the larger the probability whereby the thermal expansion coefficient vector appears, by a computer using random numbers; selecting the thermal expansion coefficient vector minimizing the square sum of the displacement from the appeared thermal expansion coefficient vectors; and arranging and fusing together the mirror segments in accordance with the components thereof.

摘要: A stationary hologram scanner according to the present invention divides one light beam into a plurality of parts (switched-over in a time division manner) prior to the incidence of the light beam on the hologram disk, so that a construction, in which only one mirror is installed between the hologram disk and a reading window, is possible, thereby reducing a cross-sectional area of one side portion of an apparatus in comparison with the conventional apparatus; as a result, an operator can reasonably operate the scanner in a seated posture with the operator's knees below this portion.
