摘要: An active noise controller includes a prediction filter which includes a delayer for delaying the noise or error detection signal by a predetermined period of time, a first adaptive filter for processing the output of the delayer to deliver its periodic component, and a subtractor for subtracting the output of the first adaptive filter from the noise detection signal to deliver a random component of the signal. More specifically, the prediction filter is capable of dividing the noise or error detection signal into two, periodic and random, components. In addition, two, second and third, adaptive filters are provided for processing the periodic and random components respectively. Accordingly, the second and third adaptive filters become responsive precisely to their respective periodic and random components regardless of the ratio in level between the two components, whereby any undesired noise consisting of the two discrete components will be suppressed.

摘要: A wide frequency range signal from a test sound source is reproduced successively by a plurality of speakers, and the reproduced sound is detected by a plurality of microphones, after which the frequency characteristics are obtained at FFTs, while obtaining the frequency characteristics of the wide frequency range signal at an FFT. A high frequency range level is normalized with a low frequency range level, and a determination section compares the normalized value with a reference value stored in a reference value storage section to determine the number and positions of people in the sound field. The transfer functions between the speakers and the microphones are calculated at transfer function calculators, and impulse responses are obtained at IFFTs, after which a reverberation time calculator calculates the reverberation time based on the impulse responses. An audio signal is adjusted based on the results.

摘要: In a noise suppressor, a noise signal detected by a first detector is inputted to an adaptive filter and a FIR filter. An output signal of the adaptive filter is reproduced by a speaker. The signal reproduced by the speaker and a noise signal from a noise source are detected by a second detector. The signal detected by the second detector is band-limited by a filter circuit and sent to a LMS computing circuit. The LMS computing circuit updates a coefficient of the adaptive filter so as to minimize an output signal of the filter circuit in response to an output signal of the FIR filter and an output signal of the filter circuit.

According to the configuration, the move path of the virtual sound source moving through the virtual sound field space is specified, the distance to the listening position of the listener is sequentially calculated, and the effective sound signal based on a predetermined distance coefficient is continuously generated from the sound source signal.

摘要: Disclosed is an inverted cup-shaped cover of deformable material to be fitted over an open socket housing end of a pivotal ball joint assembly. The cover has a pair of opposite end openings, one of which is considerably smaller in diameter than the other and receives therethrough in sealed relationship the shank of a ball stud protruding from the housing through an open end thereof. The cover has a gently curved longitudinal sectional configuration and is flared toward its other end opening at which it is fitted over the open end of the housing. A ring is embedded in the flared portion of the cover and has an inner circumferential edge exposed toward the interior of the cover. This inner edge is sharp-angled and has a diameter slightly smaller than the maximum diameter of the housing at the open end thereof. This ring is formed of resilient material, for example, spring steel.
