摘要: Disclosed are hearing protection devices and housings for noise sensors for the same. Hearing protection devices can include an ear cup including an external casing partially defining an inner space, a noise sensor including a microphone electrically coupled to a printed circuit board, and a housing disposed in an aperture defined in the external casing. The housing can define an axial bore defining a noise sensor receiving portion and an acoustic communication portion. The inner space of the ear cup can be substantially airtight when the housing is sealably disposed at or proximate the aperture, the microphone is engaged within the noise sensor receiving portion of the housing, and the ear cup is worn securely about the wearer's ear. The noise sensor can be calibrated by removing a removable securing collar and slidably disposing a calibration tool into the axial bore without further disassembling the hearing protection device.

摘要: An acoustic noise reduction (ANR) headphone described herein has current detection circuitry that detects current consumed by an acoustic driver amplifier as a result of pressure changes due to a tapping of the headphone. Tapping may be performed to change an audio feature or operating mode of the audio system for the headphone. The current detection circuitry senses a characteristic of the current consumed by the acoustic driver amplifier that can be used to determine an occurrence of a tap event. Examples of a characteristic include an amplitude, waveform or duration of the sensed current. Advantageously, the ANR headphones avoid the need for control buttons to initiate the desired changes to the audio feature or operating mode.

摘要: An improved system and method for recognizing an audio signal due to physical activity and taking a predetermined action in response is disclosed. A “reverse noise signal” created by the sound pressure wave of the physical activity acting on the earpiece transducer is obtained. In some embodiments, an ambient noise signal is inverted and fed back, and the inverted signal is added to the intended audio signal being sent to the earpiece so that the ambient noise is cancelled. In other embodiments, a processor receives the ambient noise signal and predicts the modification to the intended audio signal needed to counteract the ambient noise. In other embodiments, the reverse noise signal may represent a motor or biological activity of a user; the system may take different actions in response to different physical activities, such as a heart beat of the user, or a tap, footfall, or swallowing by the user.

摘要: In one example, a headset obtains, from a first microphone on the headset, a first audio signal including a user audio signal and an anisotropic background audio signal. The headset obtains, from a second microphone on the headset, a second audio signal including the user audio signal and the anisotropic background audio signal. The headset extracts, from the first audio signal and the second audio signal, using a first adaptive filter, a reference audio signal including the anisotropic background audio signal. Based on the reference signal, the headset cancels, using a second adaptive filter, the anisotropic background audio signal from a third audio signal derived from the first and second audio signals to produce an output audio signal. The headset provides the output audio signal to a receiver device.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a noise reduction processing method, system and terminal device. In the present disclosure, a position angle of a far-field audio input sound source and a microphone array as well as a rotation angle of a head servo of a robot are obtained, and then a target rotation angle of the robot is calculated. The head servo of the robot is controlled to rotate according to the target rotation angle such that the robot moves along with the far-field sound source, and a beam area is changed according to the target rotation angle to enable a sound source enhancement area to process far-field audios. As a result, the noise reduction performance of the microphone array beam is effectively improved.

摘要: An ear and ear headphone shielding assembly, for comfortably laying on an ear with headphones therein, includes a panel and a cushion member. The panel has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface is concavely shaped, while the outer surface is convexly shaped. The panel has a perimeter edge including a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge. The inner surface is shaped as to form a hold to receive an ear such that the ear is adjacent to the inner surface. A cushion member is attached to the perimeter edge as to be coextensive with the top edge, the first side edge and the second side edge, leaving the bottom edge free of the cushion member.
