摘要: A napkin package is difficult to form permanent folding, twisting or corrugation in a leakage preventing wall as folded and wrapped by a packaging sheet, to ensure raising of the leakage preventing wall from a surface of a sanitary napkin after opening the package for achieving satisfactory side leakage preventing effect. A sanitary napkin has longitudinally extending leakage preventing walls on both sides of a liquid absorbing portion. A reinforcement sheet is provided on a surface side of a folded sanitary napkin with covering a portion of the folding line, the reinforcement sheet is bent at a position corresponding to the folding line without forming crease, and portions of the leakage preventing walls located corresponding to the portion across which the folding line extends, are urged onto an outer surface of the bent portion of the reinforcement sheet by the elastic tension force.

摘要: There is disclosed an absorbent article including: a body portion including, a liquid permeable front surface sheet for facing the wearer, a back surface sheet, and an absorbent layer sandwiched between the front surface sheet and the back surface sheet; and leakage preventing walls extending in a longitudinal direction of the body portion and arranged at two sides thereof in a width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The leakage preventing wall includes a side wall part upstanding from the surface of the body portion and a skin contacting part extending from the upper end of the side wall part toward the outside of the body portion in the width direction. A fold inducing part is formed to extend in the longitudinal direction at a middle part between the upper end and the lower end of the side wall part, whereby the side wall part is folded with the fold inducing part moved toward the outside of the body portion in the width direction when the skin contacting part is pressed toward the surface of the body portion.

摘要: A cleaning gas is supplied into a processing chamber defined by a processing vessel included in a film forming system, and the temperature of a gas contained in the processing vessel is measured continuously for a predetermined time by a gas temperature measuring means disposed in the processing vessel. The temperature measured by the gas temperature measuring means rises gradually while the cleaning gas flowing through the processing chamber is reacting with an unnecessary film deposited on the surfaces of the processing vessel. A cleaning operation terminating point is determined on the basis of the time-varying measured temperature of the gas measured by the gas temperature measuring means. Preferably, the cleaning operation terminating point determining means determines that the cleaning operation is to be terminated at a time point a certain time after the variation of the measured temperature past a peak. Consequently, the cleaning operation terminating point can exactly be determined so that the unnecessary film can substantially completely be removed without causing insufficient cleaning or overetching.

摘要: A window for automobiles or the like, including a frame member which is composed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material and formed integrally with a window plate. The frame member includes a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional portion formed of lip and web sections which are spaced from and opposed to each other on outer and rear surfaces of the window plate, respectively, and connected with each other by a bridge section having a continuous hollow inner space therein. The frame member is formed by injecting into a mold cavity a relatively small amount, as compared with the volume of the mold cavity, of molten thermoplastic synthetic resin material, and by injecting compressed gas into the resin material to urge the resin material against inner surfaces of the mold defining the cavity.

摘要: A molding member for an automobile window plate includes an extruded elongate member with upper and side portions to continuously extend along upper and side edges of the window plate, respectively, and having a main section for covering a gap between the window plate and an adjacent automobile body panel, a lip section projecting from the main section to cover an outer periphery of the window plate, and a leg section extending from the main section into the gap for retaining the molding member in place. The lip section is provided with a first groove portion adjacent to the lip section and extending along the upper portion of the elongate member, and a second groove portion spaced from the lip section and extending along the side portion of the elongate member, to define between the lip section and the outer periphery of the window plate a weir solely along the side portion of the elongate member. The elongate member is adapted to be subjected to a permanent plastic deformation such that the first and second groove portions are aligned with each other substantially in a common plane to form a continuous single groove for receiving upper and side edges of the window plate.

摘要: Method of, and apparatus for continuously manufacturing elongate articles with a plurality of segments of basically same and slightly different cross-sections, such as upper and side segments of automobile molding members. The apparatus includes a single die head formed with a common orifice and at least one additional orifice, as well as a device for selecting and controlling operational modes of the apparatus. The device may comprise a guide device which is movable between different positions corresponding to respective operational modes of the apparatus, and which serves to guide synthetic resin material extruded from the additional orifice. The guide member maintains in its one position a spaced relationship of synthetic resin materials extruded from the orifices to form one segment, and causes in another position the synthetic resin materials to adhere with each other to form another segment.
