    摘要: The invention includes a very fast voice coil actuator, in the range of 2-5 millisecond full stroke response with high force, a circuit board located in the enclosure, a pressure sensor sensing pressure internal to the system which in the preferred embodiment is located in the actuator cap assembly but could be located in other locations, a diaphragm, a link plate, a mating ring, and a mechanical pressure regulator. An electronic pressure regulator receives pressure commands from the engine control module in a manner similar to receiving pulse width from an engine control module to an injector and calculates the required new pressure command. A novel feature of the present invention includes the Delta P control and the control of the regulator based on direct feedback of pressure.

    摘要: A self-tuning tracking controller for permanent-magnet synchronous motors is disclosed, providing for velocity or position trajectory tracking even when both the electrical and mechanical parameters of the motor, amplifier, and load are initially unknown. A time-scale simplification of a full-order mathematical model of the motor leads to a discrete-time design model that is reduced-order and that evolves in a mechanical time-scale which is substantially slower than the electrical time-scale, permitting implementation of the self-tuning tracking controller with a lower sampling frequency (and at a lower cost) than is typically expected. A piecewise-linear parameterization of the motor torque-angle characteristic functions allows for identification of higher-order harmonics with a degree of accuracy which is selectable by the user, without requiring more computation than traditional single-term sinusoidal descriptions. Excellent performance is achieved, even with very poor initial motor parameter knowledge.

    摘要: A method of estimating and controlling rotor position and velocity for a multi-phase brushless permanent-magnet motor by measuring only the stator phase currents at a high sampling rate. Measurements of the stator phase currents are used to obtain estimates of rotor position and velocity. In turn, these estimates are used to determine an amount of voltage to apply to each stator phase so as to obtain a desired regulation of rotor position or velocity, or to command rotor position or velocity to follow a desired trajectory.
