摘要: A planing boat sailing assisting device includes a sensor and a data processing apparatus mounted on a planing boat. The sensor is configured to obtain not reflected light of laser light applied to a water surface but natural visible light or infrared light coming from the water surface obliquely below the sensor, by using a global shutter. The data processing apparatus obtains data obtained by the sensor, at a frame rate of not lower than FPS and not higher than 100 FPS, and generates wave data related at least to a height of a wave and a time until arrival of the wave based on sets of data obtained by the sensor, at least once every second. The data processing apparatus outputs the generated wave data to at least one of a wave display or a controller.

摘要: A method for forming updated map data and for using the updated map data to assist in docking the watercraft is provided. The method includes receiving first radar data from radar. First radar data is associated with a first coverage area. The method includes generating initial map data regarding features of the environment around the watercraft based on the first radar data. The method includes receiving second radar data associated with a location within the first coverage area from the radar. The first and second radar data are different. The method includes updating initial map data based on the second radar data to form updated map data and generating a docking operation using updated map data. The docking operation comprises causing presentation of a docking view illustrating a watercraft representation and a desired docking position and/or generating navigation instruction(s) for causing the watercraft to be repositioned.

摘要: Provided is a display device with which it is possible to indicate whether a direction of movement according to operation by a pilot and the actual direction of movement of a watercraft are in agreement. The display device is provided with a direction-of-movement indicator 133 that shows an indication related to the direction of movement of a watercraft. The direction-of-movement indicator 133 shows the indication in a first mode and a second mode, the first mode being a display mode displaying that there is a disagreement between a specified direction of movement specified by means of a shift switch 123 and the actual direction of movement, the second mode being a display mode displaying that the specified direction of movement and the actual direction of movement are in agreement.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide assisted and/or autonomous navigation for mobile structures. A docking assist system includes a logic device, one or more sensors, one or more actuators/controllers, and modules to interface with users, sensors, actuators, and/or other modules of a mobile structure. The logic device is adapted to receive docking assist parameters from a user interface and perimeter sensor data from a perimeter ranging system mounted to the mobile structure. The logic device determines docking assist control signals based on the docking assist parameters and perimeter sensor data. The logic device may then provide the docking assist control signals to a navigation control system. Control signals and/or other docking assist analysis and/or parameters may be displayed to a user and/or used to adjust a steering actuator, a propulsion system thrust, and/or other operational systems of the mobile structure.

摘要: Methods and systems enabling electronic devices associated with each of at least two watercrafts to dynamically form ad hoc wireless networks when the corresponding watercrafts are within range of one another are provided. Data transfer on the water is thus enhanced via such ad hoc mesh-type networks. A method of distributing marine electronics data includes receiving, over a first wireless local area network at an electronic device associated with a first watercraft, marine electronics data from an electronic device associated with a second watercraft; establishing a second wireless local area network between the electronic device associated with the first watercraft and an electronic device associated with a third watercraft; and transmitting the marine electronics data received from the electronic device associated with the second watercraft from the electronic device associated with the first watercraft to the electronic device associated with the third watercraft over the second wireless local area network.

摘要: A trailering support device able to facilitate loading of a hull onto a trailer includes one or more controllers configured or programmed to perform an automatic vessel steering control to move the hull toward the trailer; estimate, based on a content of the automatic vessel steering control, a position and an azimuth of the hull at a predetermined time after a start of the automatic vessel steering control; detect the position, a steering angle, and the azimuth of the hull; compare the estimated position and azimuth, respectively, with the position and the azimuth detected at the predetermined time; and determine, based on a comparison result, whether the loading of the hull onto the trailer able to be performed; and in a case where it is determined that the loading of the hull onto the trailer is not able to be performed, provide notification of the determination that the loading of the trailer is not able to be performed.
