摘要: An imaging unit includes a housing having an opening on one of opposite sides in a direction of thickness thereof; an imaging optical system provided in the housing and includes an incident surface and an exit-side prism, wherein object-emanated light being incident on said incident surface and traveling in a lengthwise direction of said housing is reflected by said exit-side prism toward said opening; an image sensor, installed in the housing, with an imaging surface facing the other of the opposite sides of the housing toward an exit surface of the exit-side prism; a spacer projecting from the housing or a fixed member, the spacer contacting the image sensor to create a clearance between the exit surface and the imaging surface; and a cover fixed to the housing to close the opening and press the image sensor so as to come in contact with the spacer.

摘要: An imaging unit including an image sensor, an incident-side prism, an exit-side prism, and an intermediate optical system positioned therebetween, wherein light incident on the incident-side prism passes through the incident-side prism, the intermediate optical system and the exit-side prism to be incident on the image sensor, the imaging unit includes a housing supporting the incident-side prism, the exit-side prism and the intermediate optical system such that incident and exit optical axes of the incident-side prism, an optical axis of the intermediate optical system, and incident and exit optical axes of the exit-side prism all lie on a common plane; and a cover board, on which the image sensor is mounted, fixed to the housing so that the image sensor faces an exit surface of the exit-side prism, the cover board closing an opening of the housing.

摘要: An imaging device includes a housing including first and second photographing apertures which are open toward opposite directions; an image pickup device provided in the housing; a main optical system forming incident light from the first photographing aperture onto an imaging surface of the image pickup device; and an insertable optical element movable between an insertion position in an optical path of a main optical system and a removed position out of the optical path of the main optical system, the insertable optical element constituting at least a part of a sub-optical system which forms incident light from the second photographing aperture onto the imaging surface when at the insertion position. When the insertable optical element is positioned in the insertion position, the sub-optical axis is offset from the main optical axis toward the removed position of the insertable optical element in the inserting/removing direction.

摘要: A retracting mechanism of a zoom lens barrel includes first, second and third lens groups, wherein the first and third lens groups are integrally moved along an optical axis during variation of a focal length, and wherein at least one of the first and third lens groups is moved relative to the other to reduce a distance therebetween when the zoom lens barrel is fully retracted. The retracting mechanism includes first, second and third lens group moving rings; a cam mechanism for independently moving the first and second lens group moving rings; a second lens group support frame; an intermediate member fixed to the second lens group support frame; and a biasing device for biasing the third lens group moving ring away from the first lens group moving ring. The biasing device functions between the intermediate member and the third lens group moving ring.

The cam groove is formed as a continuous groove and includes first and second groove portions via which the first and second cam followers are guided to move the first and second lens groups, respectively. 摘要: A lens barrel includes a movable lens frame and a cam ring for moving the movable lens frame in a direction of an optical axis via a movement of the cam ring which is rotatable about the optical axis and movable in the direction thereof. The lens barrel includes a stationary ring provided around, and coaxial with, the cam ring; a rotatable ring provided around, and coaxial with, the stationary barrel, the rotatable ring being driven to rotate about the optical axis. A cam follower extends radially outwards from the cam ring, and a cam through-slot and a rotation transfer groove which are formed on the stationary ring and the rotatable ring, respectively, so that the cam follower is engaged in the cam through-slot and corresponding rotation transfer groove. The cam through-slot includes a linear and an inclined slot portion.

The support frame movement mechanism makes the first moving frame and the second moving frame rotate about the optical axis relative to each other with the lens supporting frame and the second moving frame being in contact with each other when the first moving frame and the second moving frame are positioned in the vicinity of accommodation positions. One of the lens supporting frames includes a low-frictional portion provided on a contacting surface thereof.

摘要: A disk cartridge loading system for a disk drive. The loading system includes a disk cartridge holder, a drawing mechanism, a draw-in sensor, a loading sensor, and a controller. The drawing mechanism engages a partially inserted disk cartridge to fully draw the disk cartridge into the disk drive, so that the disk cartridge is accommodated in a disk cartridge holder. A holder moving mechanism moves the disk cartridge holder to a loading position, so that at least one of a data reading operation and a data writing operation can be performed. A draw-in sensor is provided to detect the partial insertion of the disk cartridge, while a loading sensor detects when the disk cartridge is located at the loading position. A control unit controls the drawing mechanism and the holder moving mechanism, based on a first signal produced by the draw-in sensor and a second signal produced by the loading sensor.
