摘要: A safety release ski binding mounted in association with a sole plate construction which is pivotally secured to the upper surface of a ski for movement about a vertical axis. The locking structure for holding the sole plate construction in alignment with the longitudinal axis of the ski also effects a holding of the jaw plate and associated front jaw in a fixed position to effectively hold the ski boot in engagement with the bindings associated with the sole plate construction. The sole plate, while being pivotally secured to the ski, remains with the ski even after a release of the ski boot from engagement therewith. Upon the occurrence of a sufficient force causing the sole plate to be pivoted beyond a predefined limit, the locking structure associated with the jaw plate is released so that the front jaw is freely movable away from the ski boot to permit a release of the ski boot from engagement therewith. Thereafter, the sole plate is returned to a position axially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the ski and the front jaw returned to the position of use.

摘要: The invention relates to a sliding board, particularly a ski, and a manufacturing method, comprising a sliding surface (4), an upper shell (2), a core (3), optionally steel edges (10), an upper web (12) and a lower web (11), and comprising at least one interface element (10), which is joined by means of anchoring elements (7) to the sliding board body and which is provided for mounting at least one binding element on the top surface of the sliding board. 摘要: A toe jaw for a safety ski binding having a ski boot sole hold-down mechanism which is pivotal about an axis extending generally perpendicular with respect to a base plate secured to the upper surface of a ski. A support part is provided on the hold-down mechanism and is adapted to engage the frontmost portion of the sole of the ski boot. The support part is pivotal about an axis to accommodate a movement of the ski boot away from the toe jaw upon a release of the ski boot from the ski. The spring force utilizable for returning the sole holder to the original position is the same spring force which effects a returning of the support part to the original position thereof.

摘要: A ski brake arrangement having a U-shaped spring wire member pivotally secured to the upper surface of a ski about an axis which extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the longitudinal axis of the ski. Each leg of the U-shaped spring wire has a braking blade thereon. The pivotal support for the U-shaped spring wire is composed of a block having a shaft member thereon, which shaft extends parallel to the aforementioned axis and is received in an opening of a two-arm toggle lever pivotally secured to the ski about a further axis which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ski. The innermost arm of the toggle lever is operatively engaged with a pedal pivotally secured to the ski so that during a downward movement of the pedal, the toggle lever will be pivoted about its pivotal support to cause an upward and inward movement of the block member. The arms of the U-shaped spring wire are received in an opening through the block so that the aforementioned movement of the block will effect an upward and inward movement of the braking blades to a fully retracted position.

摘要: A ski binding wherein the sole holding members are pivotally secured to a carriage movable forwardly and rearwardly on the upper surface of a ski. The carriage is locked to a base plate fixedly secured to the ski. A movement of the ski boot toward the ski boot release position relative to the sole holding members initiates an unlocking of the carriage from the base plate so that the entire carriage, including the sole holding members, is shifted away from the ski boot to facilitate a release of the ski boot from engagement with the ski. Upon release of the ski boot from the ski, the sole holding members are returned to their initial sole holding position and, simultaneously therewith, the carriage is returned and locked to the base plate.
