摘要:
A rotatable sports-board binding adapter mounts to a sports board and allows a user to adjust an angle of one foot relative to the sports board. The adapter includes a base plate forming a series of lock holes and at least one pocket that accommodates a low-friction puck. A rotatable plate connects to the base plate and includes a locking mechanism that can engage with any one of the lock holes to prevent rotation of the rotatable plate. When the low-friction puck is inserted into the pocket, the puck is translatable so that it contacts the rotatable plate, advantageously preventing the rotatable plate and base plate from directly contacting each other while providing a low-friction surface that enables the rotatable plate to easily rotate with respect to the base plate. As the low-friction puck wears, it may be additionally translated, or replaced with a new puck.

The device for performing secured binding of a boot on a first ski includes a binding of the boot on the first ski and a control circuit. The binding is configured to facilitate disengagement between the boot and the first ski on receipt of a disengagement signal. A control circuit is configured to: determine an angular deviation between a first direction of the first ski and a second direction of a second ski, determine the forward progression of the first and second skis along the longitudinal axis of each of the skis, calculate at least one parameter from the angular deviation and from the forward progressions of the first and second skis, compare the parameter with a threshold parameter, and transmit the disengagement signal according to the comparison.

The invention relates to a safety binding for skiing, including a toe piece that includes a body mounted to slide vertically relative to a front mounting base connected to the ski and defining an upper stop for a boot; a device for adjusting the vertical position of the body, which can be manipulated by the skier in the area of the upper portion of the body; at least one lever pivotally mounted relative to the body about a substantially vertical axis between a retaining position and a release position of a boot; and a spring mounted transversely in the body and biasing the lever toward its boot-retaining position.

A ski binding for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing has a plate which can be pivoted upwards in the front region about an axis located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski. A front ski binding and a rear heel holder for a ski boot or cross-country ski boot are fastened on the plate. At least one catch element which is arranged in front of, or in the region of, the rear sole holder can be used to secure the plate, in its rear region, on the abutment fitted on the ski. In addition, at least one catch element is arranged in the front region of the plate. The plate is fixed on the ski, and reinforced, in the manner of a conventional downhill ski binding by the further catch element in the front region of the ski binding and, in the locked state, is anchored at the front end and at the rear end, and at a number of locations therebetween, on parts of the ski or parts which have been fixed to the ski.

A boot-retaining unit of a ski binding secures one end, in particular the toe end, of a ski boot using two boot sole holders pivotable about vertical axes, which engage an end region of the sole periphery or ski boot from the side, front and/or top and interact with a spring arrangement, which biases the boot/sole holder against the boot/sole periphery and allows the ski boot to be disengaged counter to a disengaging resistance. The sole holders are double-armed levers, with the lever arms of the sole holders distal from the sole interacting with pistons which are displaceable in a direction transverse to the ski binding's axis and, by a spring which is clamped between and engages the pistons, are forced against the lever arms which are remote from the sole.

A ski binding for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing has a plate (5) which can be pivoted upwards in the front region about an axis (6.26) located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski. A front ski binding (2) and a rear heel holder (3) for a ski boot or cross-country ski boot are fastened on the plate. At least one catch element (9.28) which is arranged in front of, or in the region of, the rear sole holder (3) can be used to secure the plate, in its rear region, on the abutment fitted on the ski.

The invention relates to a snowboard binding comprising a base plate (1) and a central plate (6) that is situated in a circular central opening (5) in the centre of the base plate (1). The peripheral section of the central plate (6), which tapers towards the snowboard (8), lies against an edge section (9) of the base plate (1), which widens away from the snowboard (8) and is equipped with fixing openings (11) for the fixing elements that fix said plate to the snowboard (8). A locking device (B) on the edge section (9) of the base plate (1) around the central opening (5) locks the central plate (6) in position on the base plate (1), preventing torsion.

An alpine ski binding system for releasably securing a ski boot to a ski. The binding system includes a secondary toe release that provides an attenuated release threshold under lateral shear loading conditions that can cause anterior cruciate ligament injuries. The secondary toe release responds to a trigger that senses the lateral shear loads applied to the inside (medial) afterbody of the ski and triggers the secondary toe release the boot at an attenuated release torque. Lateral shear loads applied to the ski along the leading (medial) forebody and along the entire outside (lateral side) of the ski substantially do not cause the trigger to trip.

Ski binding, in particular a touring, telemark or cross-country binding, with a front retaining element associated with the front end of the sole, a back retaining element designed to engage the front part of the sole of a ski boot or the heel of the boot and a tensioning device connecting the front and back retaining elements to one another, which allows the front and back retaining elements to be locked to the ski boot and, in particular, allows the heel of the boot to be raised from the ski while in the locked state, such that at least one spring-loaded release mechanism is associated with the tensioning device in order to release the lock between ski binding and ski boot under the action of a torque that exceeds a specified threshold magnitude and is exerted on the ski or boot about an upright axis of rotation, and/or of a force manually exerted on an essentially only positive-fit locking element.
