摘要： An apparatus for facilitating a mounting of ski bindings onto skis. The apparatus includes a plate and a jaw member fastened to the plate. The plate is releasably fastened by fastening elements to the upper side of a ski. Two or more receiving parts are provided for receiving the ends of the fastening elements, which ends are on a side of the plate which is remote from the ski binding, the receiving parts being built into the body of the ski. Each receiving part includes an elliptic slotted hole or an elongated T-shaped recess, each being provided with at least one undercut step. Each fastening element is arranged on the jaw member or the plate and has a locking member at an end region thereof remote from the jaw member or the plate. The locking member has a larger dimension in one direction compared with the recess or the slotted hole of the individual receiving parts, and engages the undercut step. At least one of the fastening elements is rotatable for facilitating a movement of the larger dimensioned portion of the locking member thereof between a first position aligned with a major axis of the elliptic slotted hole or the elongated T-shaped recess extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the ski and a second position transverse with respect to the first position and under the undercut step to thereby facilitate all of the locking members being brought into engagement with the undercut steps. The elongation of the hole and the recess facilitates a selective positioning of the plate and the jaw member fastened to the plate relative to the ski in a direction parallel to the major axes and before the locking members effect a locking of the plate to the ski at a selected position. In addition, the locking members are capable of effecting the locking of the plate at any position along the length of the elongation.

摘要： The invention concerns a device for detachably fastening a ski boot to a ski binding fixable on the ski, the ski boot comprising a hook element extending in its longitudinal direction. In manner known per se the hook element consists of a wire material which is bent several times and of which the cross rod is located at a distance from the front ski boot end, and where legs joining the cross rod are anchored by bent, free wire segments in the front end of the ski boot sole. In the invention, the free wire segments (6,7) of each leg (4,5) of the hook element (2) are additionally bent by an angle (alpha) toward the cross rod (3), whereby improved anchoring of the hook element (2) and improved force spreading between the hook element and the ski boot (1) is achieved. In further essence of the invention, the individual legs (4,5) are divided into at least three wire segments assuming directions deviating from the preceding and/or following wire segments.

摘要： A ski brake having a ski mountable base plate and having a pair of braking arms, each braking arm having a disk-shaped head at one end and being supported intermediate its ends on the base plate for limited pivotal and axial movement about an axis normal to the arm and transverse of the ski. A bearing bar is pivotally supported in the base plate about the axis, and a pedal is pivotally supported on the bearing bar at a location remote from the axis. A receiving recess is provided in each lateral side of the pedal and defines a guide surface which forms an acute angle with the ski surface when the ski brake is fully retracted. Each disk-shaped head is supported for pivotal movement about its axis on a respective guide surface with a side thereof disposed against and parallel to the guide surface. The undersurface of the pedal includes a flattened surface extending forwardly from beneath the pivot axis and upwardly at an acute angle to the rest of the undersurface. The pivotal movement of the pedal on the bearing bar as the ski brake is pivoted to a retracted position acts on the disk-shaped heads through the guide surfaces to pull the braking arms laterally inwardly to a position above and parallel to the ski.

摘要： A structure for securing one end of a safety strap to a ski or a component fixedly mounted on the ski. The other end of the safety strap is presumed to be secured to the skier by any conventional means. The structure by which the safety strap is secured to the ski structure enables the strap to hold the ski to the skier should the ski become disconnected from the skier while travelling on a chairlift or at slow speeds. However, this same structure will facilitate a release of the strap from engagement with the ski structure should the ski be pulled away from the skier with a sufficient magnitude of force, such as will occur during falls at high speeds. The thereafter released ski will be stopped by, for example, a ski brake mechanism mounted on the ski.

摘要： A safety release ski binding mounted in association with a sole plate construction which is pivotally secured to the upper surface of a ski for movement about a vertical axis. The locking structure for holding the sole plate construction in alignment with the longitudinal axis of the ski also effects a holding of the jaw plate and associated front jaw in a fixed position to effectively hold the ski boot in engagement with the bindings associated with the sole plate construction. The sole plate, while being pivotally secured to the ski, remains with the ski even after a release of the ski boot from engagement therewith. Upon the occurrence of a sufficient force causing the sole plate to be pivoted beyond a predefined limit, the locking structure associated with the jaw plate is released so that the front jaw is freely movable away from the ski boot to permit a release of the ski boot from engagement therewith. Thereafter, the sole plate is returned to a position axially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the ski and the front jaw returned to the position of use.

摘要： A heel holder for release ski bindings having a hold-down device pivotally secured to a base plate slidably mounted on a guide rail fixedly secured to the upper surface of the ski. The hold-down device has an internal cam surface thereon which is engaged by a locking member urged into engagement with the cam surface by a release spring. The force generated by the release spring is adjustable to a desired amount to hold the ski boot onto the ski with the desired amount of yieldable force. A manually operated release mechanism is provided for effecting a release of the ski boot from the ski without necessitating a compression of the release spring. The release mechanism includes a lever pivotally supported on the base plate and effects a pivotal movement of a locking pawl to move same out of engagement with a spring fork member also pivotally secured to the base plate about the same pivot axle as is the hold-down device. The locking pawl is resiliently urged into the locking position by a thrust spring separate from the release spring. The release mechanism is operable either by an upward or downward movement applied to the release lever.

At the free edge of the cover (6) and also of the recess (5) on the instep side, there are provided raised beads (7, 8) directed against one another with hooklike formed undercuts, which form-lockingly engage one another in the flat position of the sole (4) and the toe cap (2). A tongue (9) of the cover (6) being in the longitudinal center of the ski boot, is associated with a lock (10, 10') guided transversely with respect to the tongue, which lock as a variable stop releases, limits or prevents a clearance for movement of the toe cap (2). The lock (10, 10') is moved by a Bowden wire (14) against the spring force (15), whereby an operating lever (17, 22, 22') is provided, which additionally fixes the shaft (3) with respect to the shell (1) in the forward position. The locking of the toe cap (2) is done advantageously by a pulling action onto the Bowden wire (14), which is released during unlocking relative to the operating lever (17, 22, 22').

摘要： A safety ski binding release and reset mechanism having a housing, a releasable jaw mechanism mounted on the housing and having at least one sole holding member movable between a ski boot holding position and a ski boot releasing position and for releasably engaging a ski boot when in the ski boot holding position. A first spring is provided on the housing, the sole holding member being retained in the ski boot holding position by a two-part holding device. A first part of the two-part holding device is movable against an urging of a first spring supported on the housing and determining a holding force for holding the ski boot in the ski boot holding position. A second part of the two-part holding device engages the sole holding member. The first and second parts are releasably connected with one another by a rotatable coupling mechanism. The rotatable coupling mechanism includes a rotatable responsive device coupled to a reversible electric motor for effecting a release of the connection between the first and second parts in response to a movement of an output member of an electric motor to a first position. A second spring is provided for initially urging the sole holder to the ski boot holding position. The output member of the electric motor, when in the first position, causing the first spring to be rendered ineffective thereby reducing a force required to move the sole holding member to the ski boot releasing position.
