摘要： An optical connector adapter has a tubular sleeve having opposite open ends each for receiving a ferrule supporting an optical fiber to bring front end faces of the ferrules into contact with each other to optically connect together the optical fibers. An adapter housing supports therein the sleeve. The adapter housing has at least one elastically deformable engaging portion projecting from an outer peripheral surface portion of the adapter housing for detachable engagement directly to a mounting board or for detachable engagement to a mounting member detachably engageable with the mounting board to detachably mount the adapter housing to the mounting board.

摘要： Disclosed are an optical connector plug and an optical connector, wherein the grip member includes an inner barrel and an outer barrel, which are freely slid with respect to each other, the grip member having a reduction state where the inner barrel is accommodated in the outer barrel and an extension state where the inner barrel projects forwardly, and the plug frame being engaged and supported such that the plug frame is movable by a predetermined amount with respect to the outer barrel, and, at a leading end inside the inner barrel are provided a shield plate supported at a free slant with respect to the inner barrel via a base end of the shield plate, disposed at a shield position at which a leading end of the ferrule is shielded in the extension state, and disposed at a non-shield position at which accommodation of the plug frame in the inner barrel is allowed, an action plate supported at a free slant inside the shield plate via a base end of the action plate, and inclined along with the shield plate, with a leading end of the action plate contacting with or engaged with the shield plate, and a biasing supporting means for biasing the shield plate for positioning the shield plate such that the shield plate is disposed at the shield position in the extension position.

摘要： An end face polishing machine has a jig plate for supporting at least one workpiece. A polishing plate is mounted to undergo rotation and revolving movement. A polishing sheet is disposed over the polishing plate for rotation and revolving movement therewith. An elastic member having a hardness that varies with temperature is disposed between the polishing sheet and the polishing plate. A pressing unit presses the end face of the workpiece against a surface of the polishing sheet during rotation and revolving movement of the polishing plate to thereby polish the end face of the workpiece during a polishing operation. A temperature control unit controls the temperature of the elastic member during the polishing operation to thereby polish the end face of the workpiece into a spherical surface during the polishing operation.

摘要： A memory control circuit for controlling a memory bus and a memory includes buffers, counters, data transfer circuits, and a bus arbiter having a state machine. Each of the data transfer circuits transmits a request signal demanding start of the data transfer on the basis of at least one of the count values of the counters. If the data transfer circuit associated with the current state transmits the request signal, the bus arbiter transmits an acknowledge signal granting start of the data transfer. Each of the data transfer circuits starts the data transfer at receipt of the acknowledge signal, and stops the data transfer being executed on the basis of either number of pieces of data transferred after the receipt of the acknowledge signal or the count value of at least one of the counters. When the data transfer circuit associated with the current state either does not transmit the request signal or has stopped the data transfer, the bus arbiter does not transmit the acknowledge signal to the data transfer circuit associated with the current state, and transition of the current state takes place in accordance with the predetermined transition condition.

摘要： An optical fiber connector for connecting an optical fiber cable to a ferrule comprises a tubular body having a first end portion for connection to a peripheral surface of a ferrule, a second end portion for connection to a peripheral surface of an optical fiber cable, a step portion interconnecting the first end portion to the second end portion, and a clamping portion for clamping the optical fiber cable to the ferrule. The clamping portion extends inwardly from a terminal end of the second end portion towards the central axis of the tubular body but does not project lengthwise from the terminal end of the second end portion in the direction of the central axis. The first end portion, the second end portion, the step portion and the clamping portion of the tubular body have approximately the same wall thickness.
