摘要： A method and apparatus is provided for signaling network sharing information about neighbor cells in an NS system where a RAN is shared among a plurality of CN operators. In the signaling method, it is determined whether each of neighbor cells of a current cell in which a UE is located, is shared by a CN operator other than a CN operator controlling the neighbor cell. System information without network sharing information is generated if at least one of the neighbor cells is shared by a CN operator other than a CN operator controlling the neighbor cell. System information including the network sharing information is generated if none of the neighbor cells are shared by any CN operator other than CN operators controlling the neighbor cells. The system information is then broadcast to the UE from the current cell.

摘要： A method and apparatus for selecting the PL of an interested MBMS service for a UE in an MBMS mobile communication system are provided. A connected mode UE receives FLC applicability information for an interested MBMS service and keeps a current frequency or reselects to the PL of the MBMS service according to the FLC applicability information. Even if the FLC applicability information restricts FLC from the connected mode UE, the connected mode UE can reselect to the PL of the MBMS service according to its priority level.

A User Equipment (UE) receives transmission resource allocation information indicating a transmission resource for uplink packet transmission and indicating a valid duration of the transmission resource, from a Node B over a downlink control channel, and transmits an HARQ packet using the transmission resource through an HARQ operation for the valid duration. The Node B transmits the transmission resource allocation information to the UE over the downlink control channel, and receives the HARQ packet through the HARQ operation using the transmission resource for the valid duration.

摘要： A method and apparatus for increasing the success rate of a handover of a connected mode UE while minimizing the power consumption of the UE during DRX operation in a mobile communication system is provided. The method includes the steps of transmitting a cell change report to the serving base station, and then suspending the DRX operation to transition to an active mode; receiving a handover command message, and completing the handover to a target cell; checking if the handover command message includes a DRX resume command; waiting until a control message including the DRX resume command is received from the target base station; and after the control message including the DRX resume command is received, transitioning from the active mode to a sleep mode, and resuming the DRX operation.

The method includes the steps of: if call setup for a packet call service is requested, determining by the UE if the requested service is a predetermined service sensitive to call setup delay; if the requested packet call service is the predetermined service sensitive to the call setup delay, establishing control information representing that the packet call service is sensitive to the call setup delay; and transmitting a request message requesting the call setup to a network, the request message including the control information. In the method, a network causes a UE using a packet call service sensitive to call setup delay to maintain a connected state, so that restart delay of the packet call service can be minimized.

A user equipment transmits an uplink signal for requesting communications on the shared channel to a Node B, and waits for a delay duration without monitoring a downlink after transmitting the uplink signal. When the delay duration has elapsed, the user equipment monitors the downlink during a valid period and determines whether a downlink signal responding to the uplink signal is received in a transmission time interval within the valid period. When the downlink signal is received in the valid period, the user equipment transmits and receives data on the shared channel.

A signaling receiver receives information on a cell to be added to an active set and information on a change in a best cell, from a terminal. A signaling transmitter transmits configuration information for the packet data service and the packet data to a source base station or a target base station. A memory stores information on the active set. A data path decision unit allows the terminal to update the active set and to set configuration information newly set for the packet data service, transmits the information on the cell to be added to the active set to the target base station in response to the information on the cell to be added to the active set, and allows the target base station to perform the packet data service scheduling for the terminal in response to the information on the change in the best cell.

The method further includes the steps of transmitting a radio bearer establishing message from an access network to the terminal, the radio bearer establishing message including a radio link packet size set determined based on the codec type, the byte-alignment information and the voice codec mode, the access network connecting the terminal with the core network.
