The applicator includes a body, one or more reservoirs inside the body and configured to hold one or more formulas, an applicator surface coupled to the body and configured to apply the one or more formulas, one or more condition sensors located on the applicator, the one or more sensors configured to detect a condition of a portion of skin, before one or more formulas is applied to the portion of skin, and a position sensor configured to map the skin as the applicator surface moves across the skin, and a base device, including a base device processor configured to receive the condition from the one or more sensors, and direct the applicator to apply one or more treatments onto the portion of skin based on the condition.

    Abstract: A system is provided that stabilizes an applicator in response to the motion caused by a user. The system includes a motion stabilizer; and an adapter that holds a cosmetic applicator. The motion stabilizer includes a receiver configured to be coupled with the adapter, at least one sensor configured to detect a movement caused by a user, circuitry configured to determine a compensation movement to offset the detected movement; and at least one motion generation device embedded in the receiver configured to control a motion of the cosmetic applicator according to the determined compensation movement, wherein the adapter includes circuitry that is configured to transmit an identifier to the receiver, the identifier indicating a type of the cosmetic applicator, and the motion generation device is configured to set at least one parameter for controlling the motion of the cosmetic applicator according to the type of the cosmetic applicator.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile apparatus for monitoring state of cosmetic items in a drawer or on a shelf. The apparatus includes a camera; a display device; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to capture an image of the drawer and its contents using the camera, decode the captured image to identify the cosmetic items contained in the drawer and respective location of the identified cosmetic items, and display on the display device a notification of identified cosmetic items that have expired. An augmented reality display device highlights a group of cosmetic items determined to be compatible and within a freshness degree. The processing circuitry is configured to display on the mobile display a notification of a cosmetic item to apply, highlight the cosmetic item in the augmented reality display device, and record in a database usage information of the cosmetic item.

    Abstract: An apparatus is provide for dispensing cosmetic material, including a dispensing device configured to receive at least one cartridge that contains a cosmetic material and to dispense a specified amount of the cosmetic material from the cartridge onto a dispensing surface. The dispensing surface is configured to be part of a detachable portion of the apparatus. The dispensing device further includes a retractable plate disposed beneath the detachable portion, wherein a dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is configured to penetrate the retractable plate and the detachable portion, such that (i) when the retractable plate is at a stable highest position, the dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is flush with the surface of the retractable plate, (ii) when the retractable plate is moved to a predetermined stable downward position below the highest position, and the detachable portion is placed on the retractable surface, the dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is flush with the dispensing surface and the retractable plate is configured to move even further downward to an unstable position in response to a downward force on the detachable portion.
