Abstract: Embodiments relate to a display device and a method of operating the display device. The display device includes a power supply circuit configured to generate a gate voltage at an output terminal of the power supply circuit based on an input voltage to supply the gate signal to the pixels of the panel. The display device generates a switching pulse signal for a predetermined time period after the input voltage dropping below the predetermined threshold voltage. The display device generates the gate voltage at a first voltage level responsive to the switching pulse signal, the gate voltage at the first voltage level higher than the gate voltage at a second voltage level absent the switching pulse signal. Charges stored in pixels are discharged by applying the gate voltage to the pixels through gate lines, responsive to the input voltage dropping below the predetermined threshold voltage.

Abstract: A power supply includes a first converter configured to convert an input voltage into a first output voltage, a first feedback circuit configured to output a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the first converter to control a level of the first output voltage, and a mode controller configured to compare the input voltage and a reference voltage and determine whether the first converter operates in a first mode or a second mode based on the compared result. When the input voltage is less than or equal to the reference voltage, the first converter boosts the input voltage and outputs the boosted voltage as the first output voltage in the first mode. Further, when the input voltage is greater than the reference voltage, the first converter bypasses the input voltage and outputs the bypassed voltage as the first output voltage in the second mode.

Abstract: A touch display device includes a timing controller to generate a sync signal for controlling timing of a touch sensor driving period and a display driving period, where the display driving period comprises a first phase to drive odd signal lines according to a first polarity and to drive even signal lines according to a second polarity, a second phase to drive the odd signal lines according to the second polarity and to drive the even signal lines according to the first polarity, and a charge share period between the first phase and the second phase.
