    Abstract: Embodiments relate to a display device and a method of operating the display device. The display device includes a power supply circuit configured to generate a gate voltage at an output terminal of the power supply circuit based on an input voltage to supply the gate signal to the pixels of the panel. The display device generates a switching pulse signal for a predetermined time period after the input voltage dropping below the predetermined threshold voltage. The display device generates the gate voltage at a first voltage level responsive to the switching pulse signal, the gate voltage at the first voltage level higher than the gate voltage at a second voltage level absent the switching pulse signal. Charges stored in pixels are discharged by applying the gate voltage to the pixels through gate lines, responsive to the input voltage dropping below the predetermined threshold voltage.

    Abstract: A touch display device operates between a normal mode and a sleep mode, the touch display device including: a display panel; a touch panel; a data drive circuit to supply a data voltage; a touch drive circuit to supply a touch driving signal; a timing controller to supply a data control signal; a micro-control unit to supply a touch synchronization signal; and a power supply to supply a first and second driving voltage, the power supply including: a first converter to output the first driving voltage; a second converter to output the second driving voltage; a first switching unit to supply the first or second input voltage to the first converter; a second switching unit to supply the first or second input voltage to the second converter; and a switching control circuit to control the first and second switching units. Therefore, power consumption of the power supply is reduced.

    Abstract: A power supply includes a first converter configured to convert an input voltage into a first output voltage, a first feedback circuit configured to output a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the first converter to control a level of the first output voltage, and a mode controller configured to compare the input voltage and a reference voltage and determine whether the first converter operates in a first mode or a second mode based on the compared result. When the input voltage is less than or equal to the reference voltage, the first converter boosts the input voltage and outputs the boosted voltage as the first output voltage in the first mode. Further, when the input voltage is greater than the reference voltage, the first converter bypasses the input voltage and outputs the bypassed voltage as the first output voltage in the second mode.

    Abstract: A display device can include a display panel having a plurality of pixels disposed on a substrate, and a power supplier configured to supply a driving voltage to the display panel. The power supplier can include a first converter configured to receive an input voltage supplied from an external system and convert the input voltage into a boost voltage, a second converter configured to convert the boost voltage into the driving voltage, a first feedback unit configured to output a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the first converter so that the boost voltage is proportional to a first reference voltage, and a second feedback unit configured to output a second PWM signal to the second converter so that the driving voltage is proportional to a second reference voltage.
