    Abstract: Problem: To provide a liquid-material discharge device that enables easier correction of a changed discharge amount during discharge operation than conventional techniques. Solution: A liquid-material discharge device according to the present invention, which includes a discharging member having a rod-shaped body, a liquid chamber wider than the discharging member, in which a tip portion of the discharging member is disposed, a discharge port communicating with the liquid chamber, a liquid feed path that makes the liquid chamber communicate with a liquid-material reservoir, and a driving device configured to drive the discharging member, includes a discharge amount adjustment member positioned at the liquid feed path, and a member position adjustment mechanism configured to shift a position of the discharge amount adjustment member within the liquid feed path, the discharge amount adjustment member being kept from interrupting communication between the liquid chamber and the liquid-material reservoir.

    Abstract: Problem: To provide a fluid transfer device that can solve an issue of pulsation that occurs when a liquid material is discharged from a nozzle by eccentrically rotating a male-screw-shaped rotor within a stator having a female-screw-shaped insertion hole, an application device including the fluid transfer device, and an application method. Solution: A fluid transfer device 1 includes: an outer cylinder 10; a stator 11 that has a female-screw-shaped insertion hole 12 as a through-hole and is provided on an inner periphery of the outer cylinder; and a male-screw-shaped rotor 20 that is connected to a rotor driving part and eccentrically rotates in contact with an inner periphery of the stator. In the fluid transfer device 1 capable of transferring a fluid in a transport path formed by the stator 11 and the rotor 20, by rotating the rotor 20 inserted through the insertion hole 12, contact force with the rotor 20 at an inlet portion and an outlet portion of the stator 11 is smaller than contact force with the rotor 20 at a central portion of the stator 11.

    Abstract: There is provided a character string display device including a character string display unit (10) including a plurality of display elements (110) arrayed two-dimensionally, and a display controller (20) configured to cause the character string display unit (10) to display a predetermined character string pattern by controlling display states of the plurality of display elements (110). In the character string display device, the display controller (20) is configured to cause the character string display unit (10) to display the character string pattern such that there is no blank line between consecutive character patterns of the character string pattern and that, when two display elements corresponding to the respective consecutive character patterns are adjacent to each other, a character pattern part corresponding to one of the adjacent display elements (110) is not displayed. The character string display device and a character string display method are simple and low cost, allow effective use of display space, and achieve higher legibility of a character string.

The liquid material discharge device is used in a negative pressure space, and includes a storage container, a compressed-gas supply source pressurizing the storage container, a nozzle having a discharge flow path, a reciprocating valve rod, an actuator driving the valve rod, a valve seat having a communication hole that is communicated with the discharge flow path, and a discharge control device controlling the actuator to open and close the communication hole by a tip of the valve rod. The device can further include a resin film disposed at a lower end of the valve rod, or a resin film disposed on an upper surface of the valve seat and having a through-hole communicating with the communication hole.

    Abstract: A liquid material filling device and method are provided which are intended to prevent air bubbles from remaining along an entire length of a flow passage extending from a liquid material reservoir (51) to a discharge port (53). The liquid material filling device includes a chamber (10) of an airtight structure, a pressure regulator (70) for regulating pressure in the chamber (10), and a control device (100). The liquid material is filled as follows. A negative pressure supply source (71) is communicated with a chamber communication pipe (90) and with a discharge device communication pipe (91) to reduce the pressure in the chamber (10) and pressure in an upper space of the reservoir (51) to a vacuum or a low pressure level close to a vacuum, and a resulted low-pressure state is maintained for a certain time to expel out air bubbles in the liquid material.
