    摘要: A self-propelled work machine, in which the load of the work unit increases according to an increase in the travel speed. The self-propelled work machine includes electric motors for driving the travel units, an engine for driving the work unit, a work drive instruction unit for instructing the work unit to turn on, and a control unit for controlling the electric motors. The control unit reduces the actual speed of the electric motors by using PID control so that the actual rotational speed of the engine returns to a reference rotational speed when the actual rotational speed of the engine falls below the reference rotational speed in the state in which the work unit is turned on by the work drive instruction unit. The reference rotational speed is a reference value used when the work unit is driven by the engine.

An operating section is operatable by a human operator to provide signals to the control unit to control operations of the working unit and the traveling unit. A mode selector switch is mounted on the operating section for operation by the human operator to select one working operation mode from among plural alternative working operation modes that are set in advance in the control unit on the basis of a combination of a travel speed of the machine body, a revolving speed of the engine, and an opening of a throttle valve associated with the engine.

    摘要: A working machine has a machine body, a working unit attached to the machine body, an internal combustion engine for driving the working unit, a traveling unit mounted on the machine body 11 for displacing the working unit over a ground surface to perform a work operation on the ground surface, and an electric motor for driving the traveling unit. A battery supplies electric power to the electric motor in a battery mode of the working machine to thereby drive the electric motor. A battery mode switch switches between an ON position in which the working machine is in the battery mode and an OFF position in which the working machine is not in the battery mode. A power generator is driven by the internal combustion engine to supply electric power to the battery and to the electric motor. A control unit controls rotation of the electric motor and shifts the working machine to the battery mode in accordance with an ON position of the battery mode switch so that the electric motor is driven only by electric power supplied by the battery while the internal combustion engine is maintained deactivated.

    摘要: A working machine having a working part driven by an engine and a transporting part driven by an electric motor. The rotation of the electric motor is controlled by a control part. The speed of the engine as of when the working part is brought to a working state by a work on/off switch being turned on is taken as a reference speed, and a correction coefficient corresponding to this reference speed is taken as an upper limit value. A correction coefficient corresponding to the present speed of the engine is determined. A required acceleration set in correspondence with the size of the actual travel speed of the transporting part is multiplied by the determined correction coefficient to correct this required acceleration. The control part acceleration controls the rotation of the electric motor in accordance with the corrected required acceleration.

    摘要: An electric working machine having an electric motor and batteries for providing power to the motor is provided. Power for charging the batteries is provided to the working machine through a connector. A key member is provided which comprises a key body having one end for insertion into and removal from a switch, and an operation portion which is integrally or removably provided at the other end of the key body extending sideways from the key body. The connector is positioned to the side of the switch at a location where it is covered by the operating portion of the key member at a turned position of the key member when the switch is in a first state, such that the connection of the connector with an external power source is made impossible. Such arrangement ensures that a simple structure having a substantially reduced number of parts is used, to supply the electric power to the electric motor and it is impossible to charge the batteries when the switch is in one state, and it is impossible to supply the electric power to the electric motor and it is possible to charge the batteries when the switch is in another state. The switch can be switched from one state to the other state by a simple operation.

A control part stops the engine when a first condition that the main switch is on, a second condition that the locomotion preparation switch is off, a third condition that the transporting parts have stopped moving and the target locomotion speed ordered by the locomotion speed setting member is zero, and a fourth condition that the work switch is off, are satisfied.

    摘要: A battery driven electric lawn mower includes a DC motor, and mowing blade on an output shaft of the motor. A control unit is connected between the motor and the battery for increasing and decreasing the electric current supplied to the motor in accordance with an increase and decrease in load, to thereby maintain the number of revolutions per second of the motor substantially constant at or near a minimum value permitting a mowing blade to function normally under a heavy load. The control unit comprises an electric current detecting device for detecting a load current flowing in the motor, and a pulse generating device for outputting a pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to an electric current value detected by the electric current detecting device. A pulse-responsive switch device for adjusting the electric current supplied to the motor in response to a pulse signal output from the pulse generating device. The pulse responsive switch device is connected in series with the motor. A duty ratio of the pulse signal output from the pulse generating device is increased in accordance with an increase in electric current detected by the electric current detecting device.
