    摘要： An aggregation system aggregates contents recorded on a plurality of recording mediums and recording them onto another recording medium while protecting the copyrights of the contents is provided. The aggregation system includes an aggregation apparatus and a reproduction apparatus. The aggregation apparatus obtains a main content from an optical disc, obtains a sub content from a memory card, and aggregates the obtained main content and sub content and records them onto a portable medium. The reproduction apparatus obtains the main content from the optical disc, obtains reproduction control information for controlling reproduction of the main content, and reproduces the main content recorded on the optical disc based on the reproduction control information.

The recording/playback apparatus includes a storage unit that stores a first encrypted content generated by encrypting the content, a second encrypted content generated by performing an irreversible compression to convert the content, thereby obtaining a converted content, and by encrypting the converted content, and a content key for decryption of the first and second encrypted contents, a key transfer unit that writes the content key to the external recording medium, and erases the content key stored in the storage unit, and a content transfer unit that, after the content key has been erased, writes the second encrypted content to the external recording medium, and erases the second encrypted content from the storage unit.

    摘要： A recording/reproduction device 10 receives content broadcast from a content provision device 11. The recording/reproduction device 10 encrypts the received content using a device key, to generate first encrypted content. The recording/reproduction device 10 decrypts the first encrypted content to obtain the content, performs an image conversion on the obtained content to generate converted content, and encrypts the converted content using a medium key to generate second encrypted content. The recording/reproduction device 10 writes the second encrypted content, the medium key, and the device key to a portable medium 14. When the portable medium 14 is inserted in a mobile information terminal 15, the mobile information terminal 15 decrypts the second encrypted content using the medium key to obtain the converted content, and reproduces the converted content.
