    摘要: Crankcase scavenged two-stroke internal combustion engine, in which at least one piston ported air passage, with length Lai, is arranged between an air inlet (2) and each scavenging port (31, 31′) of a number of transfer ducts (3, 3′), with length Ls, from the scavenging port to the crankcase. The air passage is arranged from an air inlet (2) equipped with a restriction valve (4), controlled by at least one engine parameter, for instance the carburetor throttle control. The air inlet extends via at least one connecting duct (6, 6′) to at least one connecting port (8, 8′) in the engine's cylinder wall (12). The connecting port (8, 8′) is arranged so that it in connection with piston positions at the top dead center is connected with flow paths (10, 10′) embodied in the piston (13), which extend to the upper part of a number of transfer ducts (3, 3′). Each flow path of the piston is arranged so that the air supply is given an essentially equally long period, counted as crank angle or time, as the engine's inlet (22-25), and the length of the inlet into which fuel is added, Li, is greater than 0.6 times the total length of the piston ported air passage Lai and the length of the transfer duct Ls, i.e. 0.6×(Lai+Ls) but smaller than 1.4 times the same length, i.e. 1.4×(Lai+Ls).

The crankcase and the combustion chamber are mutually connected via a scavenging duct (17; 56), whose opening and closing is controlled by the movement of the piston, and a carburetor (20; 55) is via an inlet port (21) connected to the crankcase. In order to simplify starting the engine it is provided with a device (23-6; 61-65; 70-72) for supply of fuel to the scavenging duct (17; 56) adjacent the combustion chamber.

    摘要: A diaphragm carburetor having a carburetor casing defining a mixing passage. A measuring chamber is disposed in the carburetor casing and is partitioned into a fuel chamber and a compensation chamber separated by a control diaphragm. The compensating chamber is closed to the surrounding atmosphere but is connected to a channel. An opening of the channel enters into a space between the air filter and a fuel inlet in the mixing passage. The channel is at least partially defined by a pipe extending through the carburetor casing. The pipe is adapted for assembly/disassembly from outside of the casing. The pipe is attached to a spacer for properly orienting and fixing the pipe relative to the casing during assembly.

Especially the transfer ducts (3,3′) each have an upper section (3a, 3a′) leading from the transfer port (6, 6′) and in a tangential direction in relation to the cylinder bore (2) and is followed by an essentially right angled bend (3b, 3b′) leading into a lower section (3c, 3c′) leading into the parting plane (A), and at least the right-angled bend of each transfer duct is located on opposite sides of an exhaust duct (7) and during at least a part of the right-angled bend (3b, 3b′) the transfer ducts approach each other.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for storing heat in a heat-of-fusion storage medium, e.g. a salt hydrate, and the heat exchange and mixing in conjunction with the taking of heat from the storage medium. In a closed system including a vapor chamber (5) and a chamber for a solid/liquid phase, the storage medium (2, 4) is brought into direct contact with a substance, i.e., a heat transfer medium (3) having the capacity of taking up heat from the storage medium by being vaporized. The vapor travels to the vapor chamber (5), and when heat is removed from the vapor, the vapor is caused to condense and the condensate returns to the storage medium. The substance has insignificant solubility in the storage medium and a density which is higher, or equal to the density of the storage medium in its liquid phase. Suitable combinations of storage medium and substance include calcium chloride hexahydrate and trifluorotrichloroethane or Clauber's salt and octafluorocyclobutane.
