摘要： The inkjet recording method includes: a treatment liquid depositing step of applying treatment liquid onto a recording medium on a treatment liquid drum; an image forming step of ejecting ink from a line inkjet head to deposit the ink onto the recording medium on which the treatment liquid has been deposited on a circumferential surface of an image formation drum, the ink containing at least a resin dispersant (A), a pigment (B) that is dispersed by the resin dispersant (A), self-dispersible polymer micro-particles (C) and an aqueous liquid medium (D), the ink having one of a solid component that is aggregated upon making contact with the treatment liquid and a solid component that is precipitated upon making contact with the treatment liquid; and a drying step of drying a solvent in the ink having been deposited on the recording medium on a drying drum.

摘要： An aqueous inkjet recording ink including pigment particles coated with a water-insoluble resin, water, and a water-soluble organic solvent including at least one hydroxy group, wherein the water-insoluble resin has a salt-forming group and a structural unit which is derived from a methacrylate and has an aromatic ring linked via a linking group to an atom in the main chain of the water-insoluble resin, and the water-insoluble resin satisfies the condition that when the water-insoluble resin, an organic solvent, one equivalent of a neutralizing agent with respect to the salt-forming group, and water are mixed with a total content of the water-insoluble resin and the organic solvent being 35% by mass relative to the total mass of the mixture, an emulsion is formed without precipitation of the water-insoluble resin, and after the emulsion is allowed to stand for three hours, a transparent single phase is formed, or two separate phases are formed and at least an aqueous phase of the two phases is transparent.

摘要： The invention provides an aqueous colorant dispersion having: a colorant (A); a polymer (B); and an aqueous liquid medium (I), a method of producing the dispersion, and an aqueous ink for inkjet recording using the dispersion. The polymer (B) is a copolymer containing a hydrophilic structural unit and a hydrophobic structural unit. The hydrophobic structural unit contains a hydrophobic structural unit (a) containing a benzene ring which is not directly bonded to an atom that forms a main chain of the polymer (B). The hydrophilic structural unit contains a hydrophilic structural unit (b) containing an ionic group. The polymer (B) contains a structural unit (c) different from the hydrophobic structural unit (a) and the hydrophilic structural unit (b). A content of the hydrophobic structural unit and a content of the structural unit (c) with respect to a total mass of the polymer (B) are respectively in specific ranges.
