    摘要: A bite type pipe connection structure is used to connect a large diameter pipe that is previously set as a standard specification. The bite type pipe connection structure includes a spacer 71 that is used for connecting a small diameter pipe P3 and serves as insertion port adjusting means for adjusting a gap between the insertion port 16 and the small diameter pipe P3, a step portion 73 serving as a step portion for small diameter that regulates the position of the tip of the small diameter pipe P3, and insertion-through hole adjusting means for bridging a gap between the insertion-through hole for large diameter of a ferrule for large diameter and the small diameter pipe P3 to adjust the insertion-through hole. The insertion-through hole adjusting means is obtained by replacing the ferrule for large diameter 3 with a ferrule for small diameter 6. This makes it possible to connect the small diameter pipe P3 with a joint main body 1 attached to an apparatus.

    摘要: A pipe joint includes a joint body and a fastening member. The fastening member includes a screw part screwed to the joint body to connect a pipe to the joint body, and a holding part configured to be nonrotatably held by a fastening tool. The screw part and the holding part are coupled to each other by a connecting structure before screwing the fastening member to the joint body. When screwing the fastening member to the joint body, the connecting structure between the holding part and the screw part is configured and arranged such that the holding part and the screw part rotate together until rotational torque applied to the holding part reaches a predetermined value larger than a rotational torque needed to completely connect the pipe to the pipe joint.

The pipe joint may be utilized in a refrigerant device, a heat pump hot water supply device, a closing valve and a water supply piping. The method for connecting piping may be used in an in-the filed piping method. The pipe joint includes a joint body, a fastening member such as a nut, and a sleeve. The sleeve is integrated with the fastening member or the joint body before the fastening member is attached to the joint body. When the fastening member is attached to the joint body, the sleeve is cut off and separated from the fastening member or joint body. When the nut is fully attached, the sleeve bites into the pipe, and the pipe is joined to the joint body.

The rotational torque is applied to the fastening jig 3 from the exterior by means of the tool. After the coupling member 2 is fastened to the joint body 1, the fastening jig 3 is removed from the coupling member 2.

    摘要: A joint includes a joint main body, a sleeve and a nut. The joint main body has a joining hole and an external threaded part. The nut is threaded onto the external threaded part in a threaded state in which the pipe and the sleeve are inserted through the joining hole. The nut joins the pipe to the joining hole via the sleeve. The sleeve is tightly fitted to the pipe and the joining hole by the threading of the nut to induce deformation that expands radially outward. The deformation prevents insertion of the sleeve into the joining hole to a specific position in an unthreaded state in which the pipe and the sleeve have been pulled out from the joining hole.

    摘要: A duplex pipe fitting includes a fitting main body 1 and a pair of coupling members 2 which are threaded to both ends of the fitting main body 1. The coupling members 2 are threaded to the fitting main body 1, so that two pipes P are connected to each other with the fitting main body 1. Each coupling member 2 includes a holding portion 24 including a holding surface consisting of a pair of or a plurality of pairs of planes facing each other so that it can be held with a general fastening tool. When a rotational torque for tightening the coupling member 2 to the fitting main body 1 reaches a value indicating the completion of fastening, at least a part of the holding portion including the holding surface is separated and the pipe connecting is complete.

    摘要: A bite-in type pipe connection structure is provided, the pipe connection structure being capable of, even if piping connection work is performed with a length of piping inserted insufficiently, minimizing deterioration of air-tightness at the joint portion, at which the piping is connected, due to an offset load acting on the piping. Also provided are a valve, a bite-in type pipe joint, and a refrigeration device using the bite-in type pipe connection structure. A ferrule 30 is provided with: a low-strength portion 34a which, when a coupling member becomes fastened to a joint body by manually rotating the coupling member, allows the distal end portion 36 of the ferrule 30 to deform so that the distal end portion 36 restrains a length of piping which is to be connected; a level changing portion 32b which connects a front tapered surface 32a, which corresponds to the low-strength portion 34a, and a rear tapered surface 32c; and a rearward portion 30A which is adjacent to the low-strength section 34a. The level changing portion 32b is formed so that the wall thickness of the rearward portion 30A has a value which can airtightly retain the piping to be connected.

    摘要: A guide tapered surface 17 of a pipe coupling port 16 has a small diameter portion 17a guiding to a distal end portion 3a of a bite type sleeve 3 to bite into a coupling pipe 5 and a large diameter portion 17b sealing a tapered outer circumferential surface 33 of the bite type sleeve 3 by making close contact with the tapered outer circumferential surface 33 of the bite type sleeve 3. A tilt angle α1 of the small diameter portion 17a relative to a central axis of the guide tapered surface 17 is greater than a tilt angle α2 of the large diameter portion 17b relative to the central axis. Therefore, even when a distal end portion of the coupling pipe 5 is not inserted up to an innermost portion of the pipe coupling port 16, excellent sealing performance is obtained in a portion coupled to the coupling pipe.
