Provided herein is a solar powered system for a gas sampling and analysis for placement and operation remote from conventional infra-structure that utilizes a minimum of power to obtain a sample extracted from a source such as a pipeline or well-head, conditions the extracted sample, transmits the conditioned sample through vacuum jacketed tubing to an analyzer while maintaining the sample at a temperature and pressure preventing phase transition, condensation or component partitioning.

Provided is a precisely sized, inert, non-corrosive volumetric insert for a composite gas accumulator dimensionally conforming to the cross-sectional area of the accumulator and having gas mixing channels where one or more of the inserts is deployable to reduce the interior volume of composite gas accumulator for composite sample collection from transfer processing of smaller LNG transport vehicles whereby a standard size accumulator system can be used without the need to maintain extremely high gas pressure to prevent Joule-Thompson condensation.

A vacuum jacketed gas line adaptor with a flange cover for an existing pipeline sample take-off probe encasing a sample line and hermetically sealed to a vacuum valve housing having an sealable access port and containing a vented bleed valve and a block valve, fluidly connected to the sample line and a length of vacuum jacketed tubing sealing connected to the valve housing and in vacuum communication therewith, where the vacuum jacketed tubing surrounds the sample line to provide thermal isolation from the ambient for the sample line to a sample vaporizer.
