Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a communication method, a transceiver, a relay, a communication system, and a program capable of performing high-speed communication even in a case where there is an obstacle between two separated points in water.
In this communication method, two points each confirm the other's position by using sound wave communication which is likely to be diffracted as a wave due to a relatively small frequency and a large wavelength. Since the communication method uses optical wireless communication in which straightness is high but high-speed communication is possible, a relay capable of forming a path for communication while avoiding an obstacle is selected from a plurality of relays. In this communication method, signals are transmitted and received by using optical wireless communication using a relay on the path.

In this communication method, two points each confirm the other's position by using sound wave communication which is likely to be diffracted as a wave due to a relatively small frequency and a large wavelength. Since the communication method uses optical wireless communication in which straightness is high but high-speed communication is possible, a path for communication while avoiding an obstacle via a relay is calculated. In the communication method, the relay is guided and moved to an appropriate place according to the calculated path, and a signal is transmitted and received by using optical wireless communication using the relay that has moved to an appropriate place.

Abstract: An objective of the present disclosure is to enable a terminal device compatible with an MPTCP to perform communication using the MPTCP even with a service server incompatible with the MPTCP.
In a communication system, a terminal device and a service server incompatible with a multipath transmission control protocol (MPTCP) transmit and receive a packet. The communication system includes a relay server connected between the service server and the terminal device and determines whether the terminal device is compatible with the MPTCP. When the terminal device is compatible with the MPTCP, the relay server establishes an MPTCP main session and sub-session, establishes a transmission control protocol (TCP) session with the service server, transmits and receives a packet to and from the service server using the TCP session, and transmits and receives a packet to and from the terminal device using the MPTCP main session and sub-session.

Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to enable an ONU to acquire ID information of terminal devices even when a network device is connected between the ONU and the terminal devices, and to thereby enable generation of a logical path between the ONU and the OLT. The present disclosure relates to an optical communication network system configured to connect a terminal device and a passive optical network (PON) system via a network device. The PON system includes an optical line terminal and an optical network unit connected using an optical transmission line. The network device is configured to acquire ID information of the terminal device, and notify the optical network unit of the acquired ID information. The optical network unit is configured to acquire ID information of the terminal device from the network device, and generate a logical path to the optical line terminal on the optical transmission line using the acquired ID information.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an optimization engine, an optimization method, and a program that are excellent in extendibility, make it easy to effectively use unique features of respective access networks, and can improve the degree of satisfaction of various users. An optimization engine according to the present invention includes an objective function of an item to be improved, collects parameters from access networks and terminals, and finds a combination of connection destinations that maximize or minimize the objective function. By appropriately setting the objective function, it is possible to control the degree of user satisfaction, bandwidth usage ratio, line usage cost, or the like.
