    摘要: In an organic EL display device comprising a substrate, a plurality of pixel regions in each of which a first electrode, a light emitting material layer, and a second electrode are laminated in this order above the substrate, and a bank film formed above the substrate to separate respective one of the pixel regions from another of the pixel regions adjacent thereto, wherein the bank film has a plurality of openings exposing upper surfaces of the first electrodes to the light emitting material layers in the respective pixel regions, and the second electrode is formed over the a plurality of openings of the bank film in common with the pixel regions, the present invention forms the bank film of an inorganic material and shapes a side wall thereof lying around each of the openings thereof to be sloped at an angle less than 85 degrees (°) with respect to a principal surface of the substrate in order to prevent the deterioration of the light emitting material layer and disconnection of the second electrode at steps of bank film lying in the vicinity of the openings thereof.

The apparatus can be formed by forming first and auxiliary electrodes on a substrate; forming a device isolation layer between the first electrodes and forming an opening on each of the first and auxiliary electrodes; forming a conductive layer on the device isolation layer to cover the openings above the auxiliary electrodes; bringing a shadow mask into contact with the conductive layer and forming a light-emitting medium in a thickness smaller than the thickness of the conductive layer; and forming a second electrode to cover the light-emitting medium, the device isolation layer, and the conductive layer.

    摘要: Provided is a stacked organic light-emitting device in which organic compound layers for respective emission colors are capable of separately emitting light. The stacked organic light-emitting device includes a first organic compound layer, a second organic compound layer, and a third organic compound layer, which have emission colors different from each other.
