    摘要: In a light guide plate 63, a light introducing unit 65 having a thickness larger than that of a light guide plate body 64 is provided at an end of the light guide plate body 64. A point source of light 62 is placed so as to face an end face of the light introducing unit 65 (a light incident end face 66). The light introducing unit 65 has a protruding portion in a shape of a half of a frustum of a cone protruding from a surface on the light guide plate 63 to have a large thickness, and the protruding portion has an outer perimeter surface forming an inclined surface 67. On the inclined surface 67, V-groove structures 68a are arranged along the outer perimeter surface of the protruding portion to configure a directivity conversion pattern 68. Furthermore, on an inner perimeter portion of the directivity conversion pattern 68, an auxiliary inclined surface 71 having an angle of inclination smaller than the angle of inclination of the inclined surface 67 is formed along an inner perimeter edge of the directivity conversion pattern 68.

    摘要: An exposure apparatus, which has a projection optical system configured to project a pattern of a reticle onto a substrate, and exposes the substrate to light via the reticle and the projection optical system, with a space between the projection optical system and the substrate filled with liquid. A supply nozzle supplies liquid to the space, a supply path supplies the liquid to the supply nozzle, a bypass branches from the supply path, and a supply control valve changes a flow rate of the liquid supplied from the supply path to the supply nozzle to control the supply of the liquid to the space, and a liquid quality sensor arranged in the bypass measures a purity of the liquid. The supply of the liquid to the space is controlled based on a measurement performed by the liquid quality sensor, so that liquid having a purity satisfying a standard is supplied to the space.

    摘要: A sound-deadening louver is attached to vents that are formed in a wall structure. The louver is composed of a plurality of blades that are inclined at an angle to the surface of the wall structure. Each blade has a sound-deadening chamber therein, and an opening is formed on that side which faces each vent in the wall structure. First reflecting plates and second reflecting plates are mounted in the blade so as to extend from an edge portion of the opening into the sound-deadening chamber. The first reflecting plates have a curved shape, while the second reflecting plates have a flat shape.

    摘要: A throttle shaft, first and second bearings, are inserted and formed in a bore wall part of a throttle body, when the throttle body is formed in the same dies. That is, when the throttle body is formed in a predetermined shape, the throttle shaft, the first and second bearings, are received in the bore wall part of the throttle body. First and second step portions, are formed in the throttle shaft, and axially inserted by first and second supporting portions, respectively formed in the first and second bearings, from both axially ends of the throttle shaft. Therefore, the throttle shaft can be restricted from moving axially, without additional thrust restricting means, such as an E-ring and a C-ring.

    摘要: An intake air control apparatus for the internal combustion engine is disclosed. Without using an intermediate opening degree adjustment screw (7) of a tapping type which is forced directly into a resin portion, a male screw portion (65) of the intermediate opening degree adjustment screw (7) is retractively screwed in a female screw hole (61) of a sleeve nut (9) fixedly held between fitting bosses (57, 58). In this way, the intermediate opening degree adjustment screw (7) can be held on a gear housing (16). The stress otherwise generated by forcing the male screw (65) of the intermediate opening degree adjustment screw (7) directly into the resin portion in the prior art is thus prevented from being generated around or in the neighborhood of the female screw hole (61), i.e. the fitting bosses (57, 58). Also, the intermediary of the sleeve nut (9) increases the area of the resin portion receiving the shock load, thereby improving the shock resistance for a higher reliability.

    摘要: An intake air control device, which is mounted to a fixed member, includes a throttle body and a throttle valve. The throttle body defines an intake air passage. The throttle valve is rotatably supported in the throttle body to control an amount of intake air flowing through the intake air passage. The throttle body includes a cylindrical portion, a plurality of fixed portions, and a strain absorbing portion. The cylindrical portion defines the intake air passage that accommodates the throttle valve. The plurality of fixed portions are connected to the fixed member. The strain absorbing portion connects the cylindrical portion with the plurality of fixed portions to absorb displacement arising in the plurality of fixed portions. The strain absorbing portion is a deformable connecting arm that connects to the cylindrical portion in a location, which is apart from a radially inner periphery of the plurality of fixed portions.
