摘要： In an imaging apparatus, an erroneous shake correction is prevented from being performed due to a front curtain shock. A shutter selecting section determines a current state is a shake-correction execution mode when a shake correction switch is ON, when a tripod detection sensor tripod is not mounted, when a shake detection sensor senses a shake amount equal to or larger than a predetermined value, and when a shutter speed is lower than a predetermined value. In this case, the shutter selecting section selects an electronic focal plane shutter as the front curtain, and supplies an operation command signal to an electronic focal plane shutter control section. In other cases, the shutter selecting section determines the current state is not the shake-correction execution mode, and selects a mechanical focal plane shutter as the front curtain and supplies an operation command signal to a shutter drive control section.

摘要： A cartridge holder being movable between a cartridge accommcodating position where it is concealed within a camera body and a projecting position where it is exposed outside the camera body has a lower supporting member at its bottom for driving a film spool in a film cartridge inserted through an opening into the cartridge holder by engaging a lower end of the film spool, and an upper supporting member for engaging an upper end of the film spool. The upper supporting member is moved between its retracted position where it is retracted from the opening of the cartridge holder and its engaged position where it engages the film spool, its movement interconnecting with the movement of the cartridge holder between its cartridge accommodating and projecting positions.

The half mirror is provided so as to be movable between a first position on an optical path of the subject image light from the photographing optical system and a second position to which the half mirror is evacuated from the optical path of the subject image light. When the half mirror is in the second position, the image pickup device generates an actual photographing image on the basis of the subject image light reaching the image pickup device from the photographing optical system without passing through the half mirror.

摘要： An apparatus using a film cartridge in a system that a leading portion of a film contained in a cartridge is thrust to be conveyed from the cartridge, wherein an indicator showing an exposure condition is reset to an original state when an initial loading, which is executed on a film cartridge loading in an apparatus, is not executed normally, and the film is rewound, thus, it indicates "unexposed" when a new film cartridge is loaded. While, when a winding up operation is not executed normally during a photographing, a film is rewound and an indicator showing an exposure condition, is set so as to indicate that the film is exposed. Thus, it prevents from causing a double exposure.
