Abstract: It is provided a method comprising: checking if an indication indicates that a target cell is configured to store concurrently first and second configurations of a terminal, wherein the first configuration is based on a first conditional handover request, and the second configuration data set is based on a second conditional handover request; monitoring if the source cell intends performing a radio reconfiguration of the terminal after the source cell configured the terminal for the first conditional handover; canceling the first conditional handover if the source cell intends performing the radio reconfiguration and the indication does not indicate the concurrently storing; instructing the source cell to request the second conditional handover from the target cell if the source cell intends performing the radio reconfiguration and the indication indicates the concurrently storing.

Abstract: Improved techniques of beam management in a HO situation include receiving, at a source node from a candidate target node after receiving a measurement report from a UE prior to completion of a HO, a repetition configuration of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource index to be used by the UE for random access. When beam refinement occurs during HO, a candidate target cell for HO provides the UE with a repetition configuration of CSI-RS resource index that will be selected and used by the UE for random access to the target cell. When beam refinement occurs before HO, the candidate target cell of handover provides the UE (e.g. during the handover preparation phase in case of conditional HO (CHO)) with the repetition configuration of CSI-RS resource index (or indices) whose transmission(s) is repeated while the UE is served by the source cell and before executing a handover.

Abstract: A method and apparatus may include receiving, by a master node involved in multi-connectivity, at least one indication from a user equipment upon or after at least one condition for conditional cell change is fulfilled that it has detached from at least one source PSCell of a secondary node. The method may further include transmitting, by the master node, at least one SgNB Release Request to the source Secondary Node such that the secondary node stops transmission and reception on the source PSCell and/or initiates data forwarding to the target SN or to the MN. The method may further include receiving, by the master node, at least one SgNB Release Request Acknowledge from the source Secondary Node. The method may further include forwarding, by the master node, user data to the target secondary node upon receiving an indication from the user equipment.

Abstract: An example embodiment relates to Random Access Channel, RACH, procedure, for example in the New Radio, NR. Random access procedures may be of two types, contention based CBRA and contention free, CFRA. A client device may only perform CBRA fallback when none of the reference signal received strengths, RSRPs, of the synchronization signal blocks, SSBs, which is associated with the CFRA resources is above a predefined threshold, T1. All SSBs and CSI-RS with associated CFRA resources may be below the threshold. Then, the client device may select an SSB or CSI-RS according to a predefined rule and perform CFRA when CFRA resources are associated. Devices, methods and computer programs are disclosed accordingly.

Another example may relate to a UE-controlled implementation for improving service unavailability using DRX operation. For example, the serving BS may signal, to the UE, proactive DRX measurement assistance information.

The method can also include, upon detecting a failed access to the target for which the access condition has triggered, attempting to access a candidate cell among suitable candidate cells that have been previously configured for conditional handover.
