摘要： In a reproduction method for lens-fitted photo film units, a roll of high-speed photo film of ISO1600 or more is loaded in a new film unit body, so as to produce a lens-fitted photo film unit that is improved in imaging characteristics for a low brightness scene with regard to its background. After being used up, the high-speed film is unloaded for development, and the emptied film unit body is recovered for recycling. In a recycling line, a roll of standard-speed photo film of ISO400 is loaded in a reproduced film unit body, so as to be sold as another type lens-fitted photo film unit that is improved in imaging characteristics in a background area of a high brightness scene.

An exposure amount changer, such as an aperture stop changing mechanism, changes over object light incident on photo film from the object between low and high exposure amounts. For the lens-fitted photo film unit, a photographic mode selection device includes a movable selector, such as a button, for selectively designating a daylight mode, a daylight flash mode and a night flash mode. The movable selector, when the daylight mode is designated, determines the low exposure amount and turns off the flash unit, and when the daylight flash mode is designated, determines the low exposure amount and turns on the flash unit, and when the night flash mode is designated, determines the high exposure amount and turns on the flash unit.

摘要： A lens-fitted film unit has a date recording module which is disposed between an exposure unit and a front cover to project a calendar date onto the front emulsion layer of a film. The front cover is formed with an elevated platform which spatially encircle at least a taking lens, a lighting window and the date recording module as viewed from the front side of the film unit. The date recording module has a module base plate, a transmission type of liquid crystal display is mounted on the module base plate so as to position behind the lighting window formed in the front cover, and a battery attached to the back of the module base plate so as to position within a shadow of the module base plate. A single shutter blade is adapted to control light passage for both image formation and data recordation. Alternatively, two shutter blades are used which interact in a controlled manner.

The A-PEN base photo film has the same stiffness at a smaller thickness compared with the conventional TAC base photo film. The roll of photo film of the smaller thickness may have a smaller external diameter in a film roll chamber of the film unit than the conventional photo film having the same number of available exposure frames. Accordingly, the internal diameter of the film roll chamber and thus the thickness and the width of the unit body can be minimized.

摘要： A lens-fitted photo film unit includes a taking lens, a film containing section, and an exposure unit secured in front of the film containing section. An exposure aperture is formed in the film containing section, which also includes a supply chamber and a take-up chamber. The supply chamber contains unexposed photo film. The take-up chamber is adapted to winding the photo film after exposure. The supply chamber and the take-up chamber are disposed beside the exposure aperture opposite to one another. The exposure unit includes a shutter device. An exposure tunnel is formed through the exposure unit and around a light path from the taking lens toward the exposure aperture, and protects the light path from ambient light. The exposure tunnel extends to the rear of the unit so that any of a variety of different exposure units can be used, depending on the focal length of the taking lens. The exposure unit is connected to the film containing section by hooks on the latter that extend outwardly away from each other in opposite directions, so that flexure of the unit will not disengage the hooks. The plural different exposure units will have viewfinders located at different positions on the unit, so that the rear wall of the unit has plural differently disposed viewfinder eyepiece openings of which only one is exposed through an opening in a cardboard cover, depending on which type of exposure unit is used.

摘要： A sequential taking camera has four exposure chambers arranged in a horizontal line along the transporting direction of a photographic film, and four taking lenses in alignment with the four exposure chambers. Front and rear shutter disks are superposed one upon the other. Each of the front and rear shutter disks is formed with two shutter openings. The front shutter disk is formed with a slot, and the rear shutter disk is formed with a pin which slides in the slot. The rear shutter disk first rotates relative to the front shutter disk a distance corresponding to the length of the slot. A shutter drive plate moves from an initial position to a cocked position in response to the operation of a film winding wheel, and is locked in the cocked position by a stop lever. The shutter drive plate actuates the rear shutter disk, and while it moves from the initial position to the charge position, the front and rear shutter disks rotate together while maintaining the disk shutter openings out of alignment. While the shutter drive plate returns from the cocked position to the initial position quickly under the force of a spring, the front and rear shutter disks rotate together while maintaining the shutter disk openings superposed. The four exposure chambers sequentially pass through an open/closed state to create four original sub-frames at a predetermined time interval on an original frame of panoramic size.
