    摘要: A software application for an electronic device with an integral or attached vibrator automatically controls activation of the vibrator to induce hands-free controlled rotation of the device. In typical embodiments, the device is a smartphone with a camera, and the application activates the vibrator to cause the device to rotate to a series of angular positions, activates the camera to take a series of photographs at those positions, and stitch together those photographs into a composite panoramic photograph. The application monitors the angular position of the device based on inputs from motion and/or position sensors of the device. In other embodiments, the application automatically activates the vibrator to induce hands-free rotation of the device for other uses such as video-conferencing or gaming. And in other embodiments, the application activates the vibrator to cue manual rotation of the device by the user for panoramic photography or other uses.

    摘要: An imaging apparatus includes an apparatus body having an outer casing, at least a shutter mechanism and an imaging device placed inside the outer casing, an opening formed in the outer casing, and a storage space and a placement space defined inside the outer casing and communicating with the opening and the storage space, respectively, a strobe unit having a lid part and a light-emitting part and connected to the apparatus body so as to be movable between close and open positions, a sensor unit placed in the placement space and having an autofocus sensor and a sensor adjusting part having plural adjusting screws, and a mirror placed inside the outer casing to reflect part of incident light toward the autofocus sensor. When the strobe unit is moved to the open position, the storage space is defined as an adjustment space into which an adjustment jig can be inserted.

    摘要: In a reproduction method for lens-fitted photo film units, a roll of high-speed photo film of ISO1600 or more is loaded in a new film unit body, so as to produce a lens-fitted photo film unit that is improved in imaging characteristics for a low brightness scene with regard to its background. After being used up, the high-speed film is unloaded for development, and the emptied film unit body is recovered for recycling. In a recycling line, a roll of standard-speed photo film of ISO400 is loaded in a reproduced film unit body, so as to be sold as another type lens-fitted photo film unit that is improved in imaging characteristics in a background area of a high brightness scene.

    摘要: A camera is provided that includes a camera housing and a TFT panel, which permits verification of a formed image, located on the back of the camera housing. A strobe unit and an electronic viewfinder unit are located in the upper part of the camera housing. The electronic viewfinder unit has a unit body including: a TFT panel permitting viewing of an object image; an eyepiece opposed to the back of the camera housing and used to view the object image displayed on the TFT panel; and a prism serving as an optical path conversion member that bends by a predetermined angle light emitted from an object image displayed on the TFT panel so as to route the light to the eyepiece, and adjoining the TFT panel and the eyepiece.
