In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, information configuring a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle that includes a DRX active time and a DRX inactive time.     Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE selects a resource for a sidelink transmission based on a network energy-saving (NES) state of a network entity communicating with the UE. The UE further transmits sidelink transmission to another UE using the resource selected based on the NES state of the network entity. The method enables adaptive sidelink resource allocation and configuration in different NES states of the base station. It improves the energy efficiency of wireless communication.
