    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform one or more operations for receive antenna switching. For example, a UE may receive a set of reference signals from a base station using one or more ports of the UE. Based on receiving the set of reference signals, the UE may generate channel state information (CSI) associated with a set of antenna ports. In some cases, the UE may generate CSI based on receiving a configuration indicating the set of antenna ports. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a CSI report including the CSI information associated with the set of antenna ports and an indication of the associated antenna ports. The base station may receive the CSI report and may communicate with the UE using a set of precoders associated with the set of indicated antennas ports.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating CSI feedback in multiple-TRP communication are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication by a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a report configuration message triggering a channel state feedback procedure, the UE and the base station operating in a multiple transmission and reception point (multiple-TRP) communication mode, the report configuration message requesting a multiple-TRP transmission value including at least one of a quantity of layer indicator (LI) values and a strongest TRP indicator (STI) value. The example method also includes generating channel state information (CSI) information based on the receiving of the report configuration message, the CSI information including the multiple-TRP transmission value. The example method also includes transmitting, to the base station, a report including the generated CSI information.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to control of discovery signal transmissions for D2D communication. A first UE may transmit a discovery signal initiation message to at least a second UE to control transmission of a discovery signal from the second UE to a third UE. The second UE may identify a discovery signal monitoring duration of the second UE during which the second UE monitors for transmitted discovery signals transmitted from other UEs to the third UE. At expiration of the discovery signal monitoring duration, the second UE may transmit a discovery signal to the third UE when the number of transmitted discovery signals transmitted from the other UEs during the discovery signal monitoring duration is less than a discovery signal transmission number threshold.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for radio frequency (RF) sensing. In an aspect, a network entity (e.g., base station or road-side unit) may perform RF sensing in a first mode for sensing a horizontal angle using horizontal multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) radar with vertical beamforming, in which a two-dimensional MIMO antenna array is configured into a plurality of vertical columns, each column comprising a plurality of antenna elements configured to transmit as a phased array, each column transmitting a different orthogonal signal from the other columns.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method may include a first network node receiving a configuration message for a report by the first network node of parameters for a temporal domain precoder. The configuration message may indicate a range of Doppler frequencies, a resolution associated with the range of Doppler frequencies, or a quantity of the parameters to be reported. The first network node may estimate a communications channel and select one or more bins within the range of Doppler frequencies based on the channel estimation. For each selected bin, the first network node may determine a corresponding discrete Fourier transform (DFT) vector and transmit a report indicating the corresponding DFT vector.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for radio frequency (RF) sensing by a base station operating in a time division duplex (TDD) mode and having a first antenna panel and a second antenna panel. The base station performs RF sensing and DL communication in a first sensing and DL communication mode in which the first antenna panel transmits DL symbols and the second antenna panel receives, as RF sensing signals, reflections of the DL symbols transmitted by the first antenna panel. The base station also performs RF sensing and DL communication in a second sensing and DL communication mode in which the second antenna panel transmits DL symbols and the first antenna panel receives, as RF sensing signals, reflections of the DL symbols transmitted by the second antenna panel. In some aspects, a characteristic of the channel is determined based on transmissions in both the first and second sensing and DL communications modes.
