Abstract: A first UE may select, based on a resource pool configuration for a sidelink communication, at least one of a first slot in time or a second slot in time of a plurality of slots. The plurality of slots may be associated with DMRS bundling. The first UE may configure, based on the DMRS bundling, at least one of one or more symbols in the first slot in time from a gap symbol to a non-gap symbol or one or more symbols in the second slot in time from an AGC symbol to a non-AGC symbol. The first UE may transmit, to a second UE, an indication of the configuration of the at least one of the one or more symbols in the first slot in time or the one or more symbols in the second slot in time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device, a first signal for probing an energy state of the second wireless device. Abstract: Base stations of neighbor cells can coordinate with each other in allocating grant-free uplink (GUL) resources for a device-to-device (D2D) connection or channel between user equipments (UEs) across the neighbor cells. The base stations coordinate to determine a condition conducive to D2D communication between the UEs. If the condition exists, the base stations coordinate to allocate network resources for D2D communication between the UEs, and establish a D2D connection between the UEs using the allocated network resources for D2D communication.

In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) may monitor and perform blind decoding for a sidelink transmission, such as a first part of sidelink control information (SCI), from a second UE over a configured search space. The first UE may receive signaling indicating an update to the search space via lower layer signaling, such as via a second part of SCI or a sidelink data channel, and may monitor for the sidelink transmission over the updated search space. The update to the search space may indicate a blocking of one or more monitoring occasions from the configured search space, an addition of one or more monitoring occasions to the configured search space, a reactivation of one or more previously blocked monitoring occasions, or a switching from a first search space to a second search space.

Abstract: Techniques for location determination of user equipment (UE) are provided. In an aspect, a position estimation entity (e.g., UE, gNB, LMF, etc.) identifies a pool of UEs for a SL-assisted position estimation procedure of a set of target UEs. SL SRS-Ps are communicated (e.g., transmitted and measured) between the pool of UEs (e.g., for relative SL ranging). UL SRS-Ps are communicated by at least some of the UEs in the pool of UEs. The position estimation entity obtains measurement data for both the SL SRS-P and UL-SRS-P communications. The position estimation entity determines a position estimate for each UE in the set of UEs based on the measurement information.

A user equipment (UE) may monitor a first control resource pool associated with sidelink control signaling during a first sensing window and monitor a portion of a second resource pool associated with sidelink data signaling during a second sensing window. The UE may perform joint resource selection on the first resource pool and the second resource pool based on the monitoring during the first and second sensing windows. The UE may transmit a sidelink control information message including resource indication fields to reserve the selected sidelink control channel resources and selected sidelink shared channel resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink data message on one or more of the reserved sidelink shared channel resources.

Abstract: A wireless device, such as a PLC, receives data from at least one wireless device. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message during a mini-slot of a control resource pool which is decoupled from a data resource pool for sidelink communications. The first SCI message may indicate a data message to be transmitted on a subchannel of the data resource pool to a second UE, where resources between the control resource pool and the data resource pool are mapped. The UE may receive a feedback message from the second UE for the first SCI message during a second mini-slot of the control resource pool. The feedback message may indicate whether a collision or strong interference was detected for the first SCI message. The UE may determine whether to transmit the data message or retransmit the first SCI message based on the feedback message.
