Abstract: Techniques described herein include utilizing a mobile device as a proxy receiver for a vehicle such that a driver of the vehicle can be presented driving assistance information based on messages received by the mobile device. The mobile device can determine that it is temporally located with the vehicle. If so, the mobile device can be configured to receive messages from other entities (e.g., vehicles, roadside units, traffic signals, and the like) in a vehicle-to-everything network. On reception, the mobile device may determine whether a received data message is relevant to the vehicle. In response to determining that the data message is, in fact, relevant to the vehicle, the mobile device may provide driving assistance information that is generated based at least in part on the information provided in the received data message.

Abstract: An example image capture device includes memory configured to store display content and image information received from a camera sensor, the camera sensor being configured to receive light through at least a portion of a display. The image capture device includes one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to determine a camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to display content via one or more of a plurality of pixels in the at least a portion of the display during the camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to not display content via the one or more of the plurality of pixels outside of the camera sensor blanking period.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein can address these and other issues by providing a CV image sensor that has a repeating pattern of two pairs of color-opponent color sensors and a luminance sensor to provide a high amount of functionality while maintaining relatively low power requirements. By using color opponency, embodiments can sidestep the need for processor-intensive color conversions required of other color sensors. Embodiments may optionally provide for surface area optimization, hyperspectral sensitivity, low-light optimization, neuromorphic light sensing, and more.

Abstract: Some dynamic pixel binning methods may involve identifying ROI optical sensor data corresponding to optical sensor pixels in a region of interest (ROI). Some such methods also may involve identifying non-ROI optical sensor data corresponding to optical sensor pixels outside the region of interest and determining a first binning factor for the non-ROI optical sensor data. The first binning factor may be based on a number of pixels in the region of interest and a target output data rate. Some such methods also may involve applying the first binning factor to the non-ROI optical sensor data and outputting optical sensor data, including the binned non-ROI optical sensor data, at the target output data rate.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are presented for reacting to scene-based occurrences. Such an apparatus may comprise dedicated computer vision (CV) computation hardware configured to receive sensor data from a sensor array comprising a plurality of sensor pixels and capable of computing one or more CV features using readings from neighboring sensor pixels of the sensor array. The apparatus may further comprise a first processing unit configured to control operation of the dedicated CV computation hardware. The first processing unit may be further configured to execute one or more application programs and, in conjunction with execution of the one or more application programs, communicate with at least one input/output (I/O) device controller, to effectuate an I/O operation in reaction to an event generated based on operations performed on the one or more computed CV features.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for pairing at least one smart ring with a primary device. The primary device receives one or more identification signals having information relating to an identity of one or more smart rings. Each identification signal received from an associated one of the one or more smart rings based on motion of the associated one of the one or more smart rings with respect to the primary device. The processor of the primary device identifies the one or more smart rings based on the one or more identification signal.
