In some aspects, a wireless communication device may start, in a no-listen-before-talk (no-LBT) mode and after a first channel occupancy time (COT), an away period during which no transmissions are to occur in abeam direction used in the first COT. The wireless communication device may perform, during the away period, channel sensing.     Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a first sidelink user equipment (UE) includes performing, in a shared radio frequency band, a listen-before-talk (LBT) for a channel occupancy time (COT). The method also includes selecting a full-slot sidelink channel waveform hypothesis associated with a first starting symbol, or a half-slot sidelink channel waveform hypothesis associated with a second starting symbol, in accordance with a timing associated with clearing the LBT. The method further includes transmitting, during the COT, sidelink information to a second sidelink UE, a transport block size (TBS) associated with the COT having a fixed number of resources, the fixed number of resources being a same number of resources for full-slot sidelink channel waveform hypothesis and the half-slot sidelink channel waveform hypothesis.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for determining whether to drop an additional signal at an edge interlaced resource block (IRB) of a common interlace. A user equipment (UE) may transmit additional signals via IRBs of the common interlace to improve an occupied channel bandwidth (OCB) of a feedback transmission and may drop one or more additional signals that are proximate (e.g., in frequency) to feedback indications of a configured interlace. To ensure the OCB of the transmission satisfies an OCB threshold, the UE may determine whether to drop an additional signal at an edge IRB, despite the edge IRB being proximate to a feedback indication, according to one or more rules that may be specific to edge IRBs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support accounting for contention-exempt synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) when validating one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS). A base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of the one or more contention-exempt SSBs, and the UE may determine to monitor for a configured CSI-RS if resources assigned to the CSI-RS fall within a time frame associated with the one or more contention-exempt SSBs. Similarly, the base station may transmit configured CSI-RS if resources assigned to the CSI-RS fall within a time frame associated with the one or more contention-exempt SSBs.
