摘要: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a network node performs a first measurement of a first reference signal resource, performs a second measurement of a second reference signal resource, determines, based on one or more consistency criteria, whether associating the first measurement and the second measurement with a same timing error group identifier (TEG-ID) indicates that a difference between a first timing error of the first measurement and a second timing error of the second measurement is less than a threshold, and reports, at least based on the determining, the first measurement and the second measurement in a batch measurement report, the first measurement and the second measurement associated with a first TEG-ID and a second TEG-ID, respectively.

摘要: Described are methods, systems, and devices for processing a Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) or other reference signal usable for determining a position of a User Equipment (UE). In some aspects, a UE is configured to report to a network entity information indicating a number of receive (Rx) chains used to determine one or more positioning measurements, thereby indicating the amount of uncertainty in the positioning measurement(s) and the precision of a resulting position estimate. In some aspects, a UE is configured to receive multiple PRS signals that at least partially overlap in time and to process each PRS using a separate set of Rx chains to obtain positioning measurements. As part of the processing of a PRS, the UE may align a search window to the PRS. In this manner, different search windows can be maintained for different PRS signals to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio of each PRS.

摘要: Aspects presented herein may enhance the accuracy and/or latency of UE positioning based on crowd-sourcing, where a network entity may compute a position estimate of a UE based on neighbor-cell scan data from the UE and one or more reference UEs. In one aspect, a network entity receives a first set of measurements associated with at least one cell from a UE. The network entity performs a position estimation of the UE based on at least one of the first set of measurements associated with the at least one cell, a second set of measurements for each of a set of reference UEs, or a location of each of the set of reference UEs via an ML model, where the UE and the set of reference UEs include at least one common cell.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for resolving aliasing ambiguities produced when using channel state information reference signal, a sounding reference signal (SRS) or other transmission as a positioning reference signal (PRS) occupying a subset of tones of a PRS bandwidth. The aliasing ambiguity results in a plurality of different possible positioning measurements, such as time of arrival (TOA), reference signal timing difference (RSTD), or reception to transmission difference (Rx−Tx). The aliasing ambiguity may be resolved using a previous position estimate that may be used to produce an approximation of the expected positioning measurement. A position estimate may be generated using a multiple stage PRS configuration, in which one or more stages provide a coarse position estimate that has no ambiguity, which can be used to resolve the ambiguity of a more accurate position estimate resulting from the PRS signal.
