摘要: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) performs a plurality of positioning measurements of a corresponding plurality of positioning reference signal (PRS) resources within a measurement window, wherein the measurement window spans at least one system frame number (SFN) rollover, and transmits, to a location server, at least one measurement report associated with the measurement window, the at least one measurement report including a plurality of timestamp information elements corresponding to the plurality of positioning measurements, wherein at least one timestamp information element of the plurality of timestamp information elements indicates the at least one SFN rollover.

摘要: The connection between a user equipment (UE) and a base station may be authenticated in the physical layer, and the presence of an unauthorized intervening device may be identified based on predicted measurement values of downlink reference signals and the actual measurement values for the current downlink reference signals. The predicted measurement values are produced based on previous measurements of downlink reference signals that are known to be received from the base station, e.g., after upper layer initial authentication. The predicted values may be for positioning measurements, channel measurements, or velocity or direction of travel measurements, or a combination thereof. A difference between the predicted and actual measurement values indicates that the previously received reference signals and the currently received reference signals are not from the same entity, and thus, an intervening entity is likely present in the communication channel performing a man in the middle or replay attack.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) detects signals transmitted by one or more attacking devices that interfere with downlink signals from base stations. The UE measures the angle of arrival (AoA) and power information of the interfering signals and sends an interference report to a serving base station. The base station may receive interference reports for the interfering signals from multiple UEs. One or more base stations may determine the identity of the attacking device based on the position of the attacking device determined using the information from the interference report and known positions of devices connected to the network. The one or more base stations may bar access to the network by the attacking device once the attacking device is identified and/or may report the attacking device.

摘要: Techniques for wireless communication at a communication device are described. The communication device may be a user equipment (UE) configured to transmit, to a base station, signaling indicating UE capability information. The UE may receive, from the base station, control signaling indicating a measurement gap sequence configuration based on the UE capability information. The UE may determine a measurement gap occasion based on the measurement gap sequence configuration. The measurement gap occasion may include one or more of a first measurement gap occasion associated with a first measurement gap sequence, a second measurement gap occasion associated with a second measurement gap sequence, or a combination of the first measurement gap occasion and the second measurement gap occasion. The UE may perform a set of channel measurements during the determined measurement gap occasion.

The UE determines a first RSTD estimate and a first RSTD uncertainty associated with the first RSTD value, identifies a search interval for the first RSTD value, the search interval extending from a difference between the first RSTD estimate and the first RSTD uncertainty to a sum of the first RSTD estimate and the first RSTD uncertainty, receives wireless signals during the identified search interval, determines a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) window offset for decoding a first positioning reference signal (PRS) received during the identified search interval, and determines the first RSTD value based at least in part on the determined FFT window offset.

The UE performs one or more measurements at each of the plurality of PRS MOs of the same PRS resource of the one or more PRS resources. The UE transmits, to the network entity, a single measurement report comprising measurement information associated with the one or more measurements derived on the same PRS resource from two or more of the plurality of PRS MOs.

摘要: A mobile device can report its capabilities to a network node regarding one or more phase characteristics between Sounding Resource Signal (SRS) resources transmitted by the mobile device under one or more circumstances, enabling the network to configure the mobile device accordingly. Such reporting can enable the network to coherently process multiple SRS resources, effectively increasing the bandwidth of the SRS resources and, ultimately, the accuracy of a position determination for the mobile device. Various techniques are provided for reporting capabilities and determining applicable conditions.

摘要: An entity in a wireless network is configured to increase transmission of a positioning reference signal (PRS) at each of a plurality of transmitters, where the increase in transmission of PRS at each of the plurality of transmitters is coordinated to avoid interference to or from non-PRS transmission in the wireless network. The increase in the transmission of PRS may be performed by a server, such as a location management function (LMF) or location management component (LMC), a base station, such as a gNB, ng-eNB, or eNB, or by a combination of the server and base station. The entity may determine the increase in transmission of the PRS in response to location requests for a plurality of user equipments (UEs), notification reports from a plurality of base stations, or requests for increased PRS from a plurality of UEs.
