    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information indicating that network coding is enabled for initial transmissions associated with a multicast/broadcast service (MBS) and indicating that network coding is enabled for retransmissions associated with the MBS. The UE may receive, via a multicast traffic channel or a dedicated traffic channel, an initial transmission associated with the MBS, wherein the initial transmission is associated with a first set of encoded packets. The UE may transmit a radio link control (RLC) status feedback message associated with the initial transmission. The UE may receive, via the multicast traffic channel or the dedicated traffic channel, a retransmission associated with the initial transmission, wherein the retransmission is associated with a second set of encoded packets. In some systems, a wireless device may In use non-uniformly distributed bits for amplitude mapping and uniformly distributed bits for sign mapping to support probabilistic constellation shaping (PCS) for transmission of a message. To provide a coding gain with one or more retransmissions of the message, the device may configure redundancy versions based on the non-uniform distribution of one or more symbols. In some examples, the device may include the same set of non-uniformly distributed systematic bits or at least a portion of non-uniformly distributed systematic bits in each redundancy version of the message. Additionally or alternatively, the device may use multiple modulation and coding scheme (MCS) values to modulate one or more of the redundancy versions, where a first MCS value is used to modulate non-uniformly distributed symbols and a second MCS value is used to modulate uniformly distributed symbols.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration indicating a mapping between a set of multiple subband indices and a set of multiple encoding parameter sets. The techniques described herein relate to control signaling for multiple radio access technology (RAT) carrier aggregation. A user equipment (UE) receives downlink control information (DCI) for a first RAT (e.g., 5G) and/or a second RAT (e.g., 6G), in a downlink control channel of the first RAT. The UE determines whether the DCI is associated with the first RAT or the second RAT by monitoring different search spaces, different control resource sets (CORESETs), different radio network temporary identifiers (RNTIs), different DCI lengths, different indication fields of the DCI, different capability parameters, and/or wake-up signals, that are associated with the downlink control channel communicated via the first RAT. The UE 115 communicates via the second RAT based on receiving the DCI.

    Abstract: Some techniques described herein provide indication of a preferred scheduling mode for a user equipment (UE) based at least in part on an energy harvesting state of the UE. For example, the preferred scheduling mode may indicate a configured grant scheduling mode or a dynamic grant scheduling mode and/or one or more parameters associated with the preferred scheduling mode. For example, the one or more parameters may be based at least in part on an energy harvesting state of the UE. By indicating the preferred scheduling mode, the UE can selectively perform a transmission using a dynamic grant resource or a configured grant resource. Thus, the UE can request a dynamic grant resource when the UE is associated with a high energy level or a relatively fast charging rate, or a CG resource when the UE is associated with a low energy level ora relatively slow charging rate.
