摘要: A UE and a base station are disclosed. The UE may receive, from a base station, an indication of a configuration of an SS and a set of candidate DL-RSs associated with a plurality of CG-SDT resources. The base station may monitor for the UL data transmission from the UE corresponding to a CG-SDT occasion of the CG-SDT resources. The UE may measure a RSRP of each of the set of candidate DL-RSs associated with the CG-SDT resources. The UE may select an UL beam based on the measured RSRP of each of the set of candidate DL-RSs associated with the CG-SDT resources. The UE may transmit, to the base station via the selected UL beam, the UL data transmission over a CG-SDT occasion of the plurality of CG-SDT resources. The UE may monitor the SS for a response to the UL data transmission from the base station.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an uplink data message to a base station while the UE is in an inactive mode with respect to the base station. The UE may transmit the uplink data message in accordance with a communications procedure, which may be an example of a random access channel (RACH)-based communications procedure or a configured grant (CG)-based communications procedure. The UE may generate a report that includes parameters related to transmission of the uplink data message, which may be used to improve subsequent uplink data message transmissions from the UE, subsequent RACH procedures performed by the UE, or both. The UE may determine which parameters to include in the report based on the communications procedure and whether transmission of the uplink data message was successful. Accordingly, the UE may transmit the report to the base station.

The method also includes receiving a set of initial data units from the first RLC entity. The method further includes receiving, from the second RLC entity, a set of retransmission data units based on transmitting status indicators that indicate the set of initial data units satisfy a failure condition.

摘要: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for network coding for dual connectivity are disclosed herein. A base station (BS) sends encoded symbols from a first network coding layer to a first radio link control (RLC) layer and transmits, to a user equipment (UE), encoded data comprising the encoded symbols. The BS also transmits encoded data to a road side unit (RSU) for passing to the UE as a split transmission. The UE can receive encoded packets from the BS and RSU at a network coding layer via a second RLC layer. The UE recovers source packets from the encoded packets with a rateless network code at the network coding layer. The UE sequences the source packets into an ordered set of source packets at the network coding layer and sends the ordered set of source packets from the network coding layer to a packet data convergence protocol layer for processing.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message indicating a scheduling request configuration that includes at least one resource associated with a half-duplex mode of the UE and at least one resource associated with a full-duplex mode of the UE. The UE may transmit a scheduling request using the at least one resource associated with the half-duplex mode or the at least one resource associated with the full-duplex mode. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration message may indicate a logical channel that maps to a corresponding scheduling request configuration associated with a half-duplex mode of the UE, to a corresponding scheduling request configuration associated with a full-duplex mode of the UE, or to a combination thereof. Accordingly, the UE may transmit the scheduling request using the logical channel. Numerous other aspects are described.

In one aspect, the apparatus can determine to enter into a two-step RACH procedure in an RRC inactive state. The apparatus can also determine to transmit uplink data in a payload of a message A (MsgA) of the two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus can also transmit the MsgA of the two-step RACH procedure, the MsgA including the payload, the payload including at least the uplink data. Additionally, the apparatus can monitor for a MsgB of the two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus can also receive the MsgB of the two-step RACH procedure, where the MsgB includes a fallback indication including a fallback RAR. Further, the apparatus can retransmit the payload of the MsgA when the MsgB including the fallback indication is received.

摘要: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to handling user equipment's (UE's) failure to receive a timing advance (TA) command from a base station during in a two-step random access procedure are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication can include transmitting a first random access channel (RACH) message (e.g., msgA); monitoring for a second RACH message (e.g., msgB) from the BS including a timing advance (TA) command; performing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) procedure on the second RACH message; and performing, when the HARQ procedure on the second RACH message fails, at least one of: starting a new RACH procedure or triggering a radio link failure (RLF).
