Abstract: A display apparatus is presented. The display apparatus includes a lower substrate, an upper substrate, a display layer disposed over the lower substrate, a first anti-reflection layer including a plurality of color filters, and a second anti-reflection layer which is disposed over the first anti-reflection layer and includes a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer. The apparatus is sufficiently strong and has reduced reflectivity that a cover member and an optical functional member that are often part of a conventional display apparatus are unnecessary.
