摘要: Media enhanced mobile payments enable a user to make payments and payment requests that include additional media. The user may transmit a text-based message that may be used to update an account associated with a recipient. Additional media, such as a personalized voice recording, may be acquired by a host from the user, and may be associated with the text-based message. The additional media may be transmitted to the recipient identified in the text-based message. In some aspects, the text-based message may be a short messaging service (SMS) text message. Further aspects may include the host connecting to the user via a telephone call to record the personalized voice recording.

摘要: A method of manufacturing flash memory device is provided and includes the following steps. First, a substrate is provided. Then, a stacked gate structure is formed on the substrate. Subsequently, a first oxide layer is formed on the stacked gate structure. Following that, a nitride spacer is formed on the first oxide layer, wherein a nitrogen atom-introducing treatment is performed after the forming of the first oxide layer and before the forming of the nitride spacer. Accordingly, the nitrogen atom-introducing treatment of the presentation invention can improve the data retention reliability of the flash memory device.

摘要: Various embodiments of a system and method for preventing large-scale account lockout are described. The system and method for preventing large-scale account lockout may include an account access control component configured to prevent fraudulent individuals from locking access to user accounts. The account access control component may lock access to an account after a lockout threshold is tripped. To prevent an account from being locked by fraudulent individuals, the account access control component may utilize a warning threshold. When the account access control component detects a number of incorrect authorization attempts equal to the warning threshold, the control component may perform various actions to prevent a fraudulent individual from locking an account holder's account, including, but not limited to, contacting the account holder through a registered communication channel to inform the user that the warning threshold has been reached or placing the account holder's account in a particular hold state.

摘要: Techniques for providing information to users implemented through personal mobile devices such as cell phones, PDAs, electronic book readers, and other such devices are described herein. The described techniques and systems allow users to request searches, perform information seeking, purchasing, or other types of transactions with a provider via a mobile or wireless network using the messaging service capabilities of the users' mobile devices. Messages may be compiled in a manner customized to a user request and may be provided without the user authenticating to the provider in some instances.

摘要: Various embodiments of a system and method for message-based purchasing are described. The system and method for message-based purchasing may include a message-based purchase service configured to determine that a selection has been performed through a network-based interface. Such selection may be indicative of one or more items offered for sale via the network-based interface. The message-based purchase service may be configured to, in response to the selection of one or more items, send to a communication device, a message indicating a code corresponding to the selection. The message-based purchase service may receive from the communication device through a communication channel that does not include the network-based interface, a message including the code. The message-based purchase service may be configured to, in response to determining that the message received from the communication device includes the code, generate a purchase request for the one or more previously selected items.

摘要: Embodiments of a system and method for receiving task requests from unregistered devices are described. Embodiments may include a communication interface service configured to receive from a communication device a message indicative of a request to perform a task. The communication interface service may determine that the communication device is not registered with an existing account that provides information for performing said task. The communication interface service may obtain identification and authentication information for an existing account via a communication channel. The existing account may be an account for that is accessible via a network-based interface. The communication channel through which the identification and authentication information is received by the communication interface service may be any communication channel that does not include the network-based interface of the existing account. Additionally, the communication interface service may use the identification and authentication information for performance of the task using the existing account.

摘要: A project management system is enabled to implement filtering, sorting, and field level security for data associated with managed projects. A filter for field selection is prepared by a project client application and forwarded to a project server. The server generates an access attribute table based the user permissions that may be set for each field within the managed projects. Upon retrieving the selected fields from project database, the project server builds a secured list of fields. A data set to be provided to the project client is prepared by removing the fields for which the user lacks the requisite access permission prior to sorting the data. The removed data may be used for user-transparent computations within the project server, but guarded from client applications.
