These techniques may include analyzing one or more sources to generate a first corpus of phrases, each of the phrases for use as an identifier and/or for association with a user. Once a first corpus of phrases has been generated, these phrases may be filtered to define a second corpus of phrases. Phrases of this second corpus may then be suggested to one or more users. In some instances, the phrases suggested to a particular user are personalized to the user based on information previously known about the user or based on information provided by the user.

摘要： Embodiments of a system and method for receiving task requests from unregistered devices are described. Embodiments may include a communication interface service configured to receive from a communication device a message indicative of a request to perform a task. The communication interface service may determine that the communication device is not registered with an existing account that provides information for performing said task. The communication interface service may obtain identification and authentication information for an existing account via a communication channel. The existing account may be an account for that is accessible via a network-based interface. The communication channel through which the identification and authentication information is received by the communication interface service may be any communication channel that does not include the network-based interface of the existing account. Additionally, the communication interface service may use the identification and authentication information for performance of the task using the existing account.

In some instances, a user enters a payment identifier for the purpose of determining a fully-landed cost of one or more items. In response, a transaction processing service compares item details with information associated with the payment identifier and/or information about the owner of the identifier. The service may then provide this identifier-specific fully-landed cost to the user without requiring the user to authenticate or prove that she is the owner of the payment identifier.

摘要： Techniques for conducting transactions with one-time passwords are described herein. These techniques may include receiving a request to conduct a transaction, as well as a one-time password and an identifier linked with a payment instrument. The identifier may or may not identify the linked payment instrument. In both instances, a transaction processing service may compare the received one-time password with a one-time password stored at or accessible by the transaction processing service. If the passwords match, the service may approve the transaction. Otherwise, the service may decline the transaction or implement one or more additional authorization procedures.
