摘要: The invention provides means for preventing arms of a lever from moving outwards and changing shape, without having to increase the size of a connector. Thin members 55 of arms 52 make contact with thick members 62 of protecting walls 60, thereby preventing the arms 52 from moving outwards. Since the portions of the protecting walls 60 that make contact with the arms 52 are thick, they do not change shape due to their receiving a pushing force from the arms 52. The arms 52 are thus reliably prevented from changing shape. Further, the thick members 62 are located so as to correspond to the thin members 55 of the arms 52. Consequently, the portions where the thick members 62 and the thin members 55 overlap do not become overly thick, and the connector does not increase in size.

摘要: The invention provides a divided connector wherein, after a sub connector housing has been housed within a frame, the locked state of these two can be checked easily. A divided connector 1 has a sub connector housing 4 provided with terminal housing chambers 16 for housing male terminal fittings 3, and a frame 5 capable of housing the sub connector housing 4. Lock receiving members 14 protrude from left and right side faces 4A of the sub connector housing 4, and resilient locking members 13, these being capable of bending resiliently, are formed at inner wall faces 5A of the frame 5. When the two members 4 and 5 have reached a correct joining position, the resilient locking members 13 return resiliently to their original position, this causing spaces 15 to have a specified size which allows a detecting probe 20 to be inserted therein. If the two members 4 and 5 are halted in a semi-joined position, the resilient locking members 13 remain in a resiliently bent state due to their being pushed by the lock receiving members 14. Consequently, the spaces 15 are in a narrower state which does not allow the insertion of the detecting probe 20.

摘要: A frame (10) is provided with accommodating chambers (13) capable of accommodating auxiliary housings (20). A small housing (30) and a supplementary housing (40) also are provided. The housings (30, 40) are united by engaging a dovetail groove (33) and a dovetail projection (43) to form a united housing (50) that has an outer configuration common to the auxiliary housings (20). The auxiliary housing (20) and the united housing (50) can be selectively accommodated into the same accommodating chamber (13) of the frame (10). It is sufficient to prepare a single frame (10) regardless of whether the small housing (30) is used for a specific circuit. Thus, different arrangements can be dealt with inexpensively and efficiently.

摘要: The invention provides a front retainer used in common for both male and female electrical connectors. A female housing 30 and a male housing 40 are each provided with two large cavities 33L and 43L, these being opposite one another. 摘要: The invention provides a divided connector wherein the engaging force of a lock is not weakened when a sub connector housing and a frame are separated by a jig. Locking members 13 are formed in a cantilevered shape. Free ends 13B thereof engage with engaging edges 14A of lock receiving members 14, thereby maintaining a sub connector housing 4 and a frame 5 in an unremovable state. A guiding groove 21 is formed, in an anterior-posterior direction, at the centre of each lock receiving member 14, and a portion of each free end 13B corresponding to the guiding groove 21 forms a jig contacting region 25. An engaging region 24 is formed to the left and right of each jig contacting region 25, these engaging regions 24 engaging with the engaging edges 14A. Since a lock releasing jig 26 makes contact with the jig contacting region 25, this lock releasing jig 26 does not damage the engaging regions 24.
