The cassette includes a fixed stator and a rotatable rotor between which the ribbon cable is positioned. One of the two terminals is movable relative to the other. The ribbon cable at its ends is located in the area of the terminals. It is brought out of the cassette at the terminals for the connection of continuing cables (17). At least two plate-shaped contact carriers (18, 19) are mounted to the outside of the stator of the cassette. The conductors of the ribbon cable on the one hand and the conductors of a continuing cable on the other hand can be connected to the contact carriers. The contact carriers are connected with one another by elastic snap-in elements to form a unit.

    摘要: A rotary connector includes a stationary housing, a rotative housing, a rotative holder, floating spacers, and flat cables. The flat cables provide a low-current path to a steering wheel of a vehicle. The rotary connector also includes a slip ring mechanism to provide a large-current path to electrical apparatuses on the steering wheel. The slip ring mechanism includes annular stationary contacts, annular movable contacts, and floating contacts. The annular stationary contacts are provided on the stationary housing and oppose the floating spacers to extend along a path of pivotal movement thereof. The annular movable contacts are provided on the rotative housing and oppose the floating spacers to extend along the path of pivotal movement thereof. The movable contacts are connected to electrical apparatuses on the steering wheel side. The floating contacts are provided on the floating spacers and are in resilient contact with the stationary contacts and the movable contacts.

    摘要: A coin battery connector includes an insluative housing having a flat base and two pairs of walls extending from the flat base, defining a cavity therebetween for receiving a coin battery. Positive and negative terminals are mounted to the housing for respectively engaging positive and negative electrodes of the battery. The positive terminal includes a base secured to the housing and a contact panel extending from the base for engaging the positive electrode of the battery. Two retention arms extends from the contact panel and have a major surface inclined with respect to an insertion direction of the battery for guiding and facilitating insertion of the battery into the housing. The retention arms have downward directed free ends for engaging and retaining the battery in the housing. A spring tab is formed on the contact panel for biasing the battery against the downward directed ends of the retention arms. The negative terminal has a bifurcate configuration having two spaced, longitudinally extending spring arms project upward from a bottom of the housing in an inclined direction into the housing. Each spring arm has a contact for engaging with the negative electrode of the battery. The contacts of the spring arms of the negative terminal are offset with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction and also in a transverse direction to ensure more reliable engagement of the negative terminal with the battery.
